I have fulfilled my yearly ?? contract and asked to close my account then I continued to be charged so in January 2024 called ******** branch to complain and asked to close my account. I am still being charged and this is despite several attempts to make it clear that I no longer wish to be a member. I am at my wits end and the actions that planet Fitness has taken to charge me when I have asked them to close my account are unacceptable and amount to theft. Why are they allowed to just take people's money like this? They should be charged with a criminal act on a grand scale because I'm surely not the only one who has been taken advantage of like this.I was charged $45 yearly renewal fee in December after I had requested to close my account beforehand. Then, on the phone they said I was still being charged because I owed this $45. Since then, I continue to have $29 deductedInitial Complaint

I Have been with the company of Planet Fitness in ******** ** for two years and have found some disturbing things gone unseen by upper management. We have had issues with mice, cockroaches, mold and insulation falling from the ceilings in many rooms.I have brought all of these issues to upper managements attention and gotten no real answer. I have physically seen at least four separate mice and or rats running in the facility. One did end up on the floor of the facility and we were instructed to try to trap and release the animal, an exterminator verified that there is a full rat infestation which could be leading to a lot of electrical issues as well as the faulty insulation being weighed down by rat nests, urine and ***** matter as well as the possibility of hundreds could be in the walls. There is mold and calcium build up inside of the walls in the mens locker room due to leaks in the shower panel that still have yet to be dealt with after I informed them of it a year ago. There are cockroach which the exterminator hypothesized could be from rat droppings.
