We paid almost $70k to replace our roof and skylight and remove and reinstall pool thermals 3 years ago. Job was done in May and we had no rain for around 6 months but since the first rain storm, we have had a leak from the skylight. Wedge has tried to fix it 2 times without success. Our skylight has been covered with plastic for the majority of the past 3 years to stop the leak. Wedge even tried to make us pay for a replacement of a brand new skylight that they have installed along with the new roof! Finally a few months ago, ****, the president of the company, promised to order and install a replacement but now he does not respond to our emails, calls and texts. The office also says that they will relay our message but again, no response. We have no choice but to have someone else fix or replace the skylight. The reason we did not file the complaint within 12 months is that it took 6 months for it to rain and the leak to start and since then, we have tried to work with them to fix the issue. We have supporting documents and an email from **** that he will be ordering a new skylight to be installed.Thank youBusiness response

****, As painful as your review was to read it is 100% accurate. I was under the impression the skylight vendor warranty department was in communication with you and the resolve had already taken place. As the owner of this company and knowing this was an ongoing issue, I should have not delegated the responsibility. In accordance with the voicemail, I have left you, I am prepared to purchase a new skylight and no longer depend on the warranty claim and/or if you have engaged a skylight vendor, I will compensate them for the skylight. Please accept my most sincere apology, this rests squarely on my shoulders. ****
Subsequent to our Yelp response, I contacted the owner and met on site to review the current conditions personally.... Although there was a little bit of delay investigating some possible skylight options requested by the owner, the unit was ordered April 26 with an anticipated delivery date of July 3. Please see attached copy of invoice provided by the skylight vendor I utilized. My commitment was/is to install the skylight the following week, including any and all required ancillary components.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference tocomplaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me as the new skylight has been ordered and we are waiting for arrival and installation.
