    Took my vehicle to nearest body shop to my home address. Prior to moving to AZ I took my car to Absolute Collision Center on 4/18/23 for a quote to paint my roof, trunk spoiler and mirrors. I was quoted $850 and told to drop it off next day in the morning. I called Monday to speak to the owner and told me it should be done around 4pm. I asked for an itemized estimate for the work and was told: "No, we only do that for insurance repairs." I went to pick up my car around 4pm. I noticed some fish eyes in the paint and asked them to correct it, and waited another 30 minutes to get it fixed. I was satisfied with how the repairs looked. I took my car and parked it in my garage for the next 36 hours. I used my car until April 26. As I drove the car on the freeway later in the day, I heard excessive wind noise come thru the sunroof. I pulled over and opened up my sunroof to see the weatherstrip cut. I drove immediately to the body shop to show them my findings. **** initially mentioned my sunroof is old and deteriorating. I told him you can see normal wear and tear around it, but the cut weatherstrip is new and evident as there is no dirt or water residue inside of the weatherstrip. **** gave me a card of their preferred glass vendor. I drove immediately to ******************* at ***************************** ****************, ** *****. I arrived at 12:45pm and it was closed. I waited assuming they were probably out to lunch. I called at 1:03pm only to be told that they are only open until 12pm. They would be closed for the following days and not opening again until Monday May 1. I explained my situation of what happened and why I was sent to their location and that I was moving out of state and driving my car on 4/28. I asked if I can text him pictures and refused that they needed to see the car in person. I called back the body shop only to be told it was not their fault and would not do anything about it.
