Date of transaction, June 1, 2024 This business lies about their fees to customers. They will have employees write an amount on a receipt paper, which does not match the receipt given after payment. Example: Pedicure fee $60 on handwritten receipt and acrylic nail $80 handwritten receipt. On the printed receipt acrylic nail $74 And manicure $52. Charging the customer a $10 gift card without the customer requesting. And additional add-on four dollars without a reason. When asked I was told it was from a previous customer and only removed $1 out of $5. They are stealing from customers without our consent.

      Dear Better Business Bureau,
I am writing in response to the false claims alleging that Topline Nails is stealing from our clients. First and foremost, I want to emphasize that Topline does not and will never steal hard-earned money from our clients. The complaint in question includes a receipt totaling $141. Allow me to clarify our billing process to provide context for this receipt.
****** provided a powder set service priced at $80, and *** performed a gel polish Topline pedicure priced at $60, with an additional $1 service fee, resulting in a total charge of $141exactly what the customer paid, neither more nor less. At **********************, we have a gift card program where clients receive a $10 gift card when they spend $100 or more. To activate this card, we adjust both services accordingly. In this case, the client's receipt reflects a charge of $74 for ******'s service and $52 for ***'s service, totaling $126, with the $10 gift card bringing the total to $136. The remaining $4 charge adjustment ensures the client's total matches their original charge of $141.
Our ticket entry system may appear confusing, but it can be influenced by factors such as owed money to the owner by the technician, hence the $4 adjustment shown on the receipt. We apologize for any confusion caused by our ticket entry process, but I assure you that the customer was not overcharged, and no money was unlawfully taken from her or anyone else.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. Have a pleasant day.
      Sincerely,
      Topline Nails

On 8/13/2023 I went for a full set of nails and the owner ******** convince me to try the ******* face treatment. I was convinced. I paid for my full set of nails $90.00 & cuticle oil and a made a deposit of $150.00 to set an appointment for the treatment. On 8/23/2024 went in for the 1st session & was convince to get the package which included 5 sessions total. So I agreed and I was also convince to get microblading & was charge $500, so everything was paid upfront. I only had 2 sessions done. My face got very sensitive. I pause for a bit before putting needles again. I reached out to get my 3rd session, never got a reply, time went by and I just reached out to request a refund for the 3 sessions I did not want to continue with. Topline Nails has not attempted to reach out, all they reply was No money refund love. I also had the microblading and the outcome was not nice, they aren't done correctly and I was charged $500 for a job that was unsatisfactory and also, they were advertising the microblading special for $300 and I got charge $500 I gave it the benefit of the doubt that they would do an amazing job. I was wrong. I can provide pictures as well. Please advise if so needed.

On April 23 we went to top line nails to get micro blading for me and my sister and eyelashes, she told us that it will be $350 each to do micro blading but if we wanted shading will be $500 then she told us get the combo which include it eyelashes then my sister told her no cause it will make my own eyelashes to fall the owner ******** told my sister no I promise you it won't and if it does she will pay her so then my sister goes ok let's have them done everything was fine until the next day for my mom eyelashes started falling also my sisters we called the business back and the receptionist said that's natural for them to fall off then we went back to the business and spoke with the owner ******** and I showed her my moms eyelashes that most of the eyelashes have fallen off then she replied well that's because she has very small eyelashes so they can't hold the extensions so I told her then you guys should of told that since the beginning so we will know that we will be spending $89 for nothing so I wouldn't have no right to complain cause I did them on my own risk she goes well I can only give you $10 discount of the full price I also told her when we got the micro blading you never told us that we had to pay more money to get the second touch up you only said we would pay $500 and we will come back in 4 weeks again she said well you have to pay to have the retouch done so I told her then what kind of business is this that doesn't stand by there work and a very dishonest cause that lies to their customers and doesn't honored their word I spend $**** for a service that wasn't done correctly. Owner just walked away and said if you don't like it then go somewhere else.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/05/29) */ To whom it may concern, Topline Nails is a professional established business, serving our community for over 20 years. Topline strives to satisfy all our clients. In regards to complaint case*********, *************** was serviced along with her family members. They received combo services (Microblading, Eyelash extensions) at a promotional discounted price. Topline requires every client who receives PMU (permanent make-up) and Eyelash extensions to fill out and sign a consent form, this form states after care, asks for allergies ex... with in this form that was filled out per individual whom received PMU and eyelash extensions you can find that for PMU it clearly states "if needed, a touch up appointment can be scheduled after the 4-6 week healing timeframe". Price varies depending if Topline Nails is offering a promotional price. There is no indication on the form that states there will be a free touch-up. Moreover, Natural lashes are constantly growing in and falling out at different times so your eyelash extensions will too! There is no set amount of time that eyelash extensions will last because they will shed with the natural lash they are attached to when it grows out and that time varies. Due to growth cycles and different stages, the best estimate is that you will shed 1-5 natural lashes per day - including those with extensions and those without. Frequent re-lashes or as Topline refers to eyelash refill will replace those that have shed to maintain a full look. In this case we offered ***** a discount to refill the eyelashes due to the excessive fall out, We decided to give an additional discount on top of the original promotional Eyelash full-set however ***** was not satisfied with our discounted priced refill. We are a thriving business who's priority is to have all our clients satisfied, however we can not give FREE services to our clients. Topline has hard woking employees how have families to feed and lives to be lived.
