08/26/2022 I spend $9000.00 for the Laser BACT Reduc Treatment. I have 5 follow up appointments after the treatment. I show up every appointment, but they did not perform any treatment for me. Rigth now my gum Problem became worse, they try to ask me to pay more money to do more cleaning service. Which is really not acceptable. I request to get my money back.Initial Complaint

On 02/24/2023 I paid Bright Now dental to extract 6 teeth in total. I had one extraction done and was unsatisfied with the way the work was performed and have decided to find another dentist. I have requested a refund several times in person and by phone. The manager there has never returned any of my calls and I would like a refund of money paid for the future extractions. Refund amount should be approx $1000 as I have insurance to cover some of the expense.Initial Complaint

I'd like to file a complaint against Bright Now Dental Office Pinole location regarding inaccurate over-price treatment plan, refusal of treatment, denial of access to care and the intention to double charge me and my insurance. On 8/17/22, I went to Bright Now Dental Office located at ******************************************************************* as a first-time patient. First, they refused to give me a regular teeth cleaning with the excuse that they only do deep cleaning. In the treatment plan, the deep cleaning costs $3,291. I have an HMO dental plan for low income, and I am retired; therefore, I cannot afford $3,291 for a deep cleaning. Secondly, they told me that I need to do fillings for 4 teeth. The insurance codes are the same for tooth #6 and tooth #7, and the insurance codes are the same for tooth #** and tooth #**. However, they said the insurance only covers tooth #7, but not tooth #6, and the insurance only covers tooth #**, but not tooth #**. They wanted me to pay out of pocket for 2 teeth #6 and #** even though they have the same insurance codes with the other 2 teeth #7 and #**, and their excuse is that they claim my 2 broken tooth #6 and #** that need fillings have no cavity; therefore, insurance would not cover. On the same day 8/17/22, I called my insurance to confirm if it is true that insurance does not cover the filling for 2 teeth #6 and #**. My insurance said they cover fillings for all 4 teeth. I had the insurance agent on the speaker phone to talk to the office manager at that time. However, the office manager refused to give me the treatment. She said she needs to send the pre-authorization request to my insurance, which will take ***** days. Today 9/20/2022, I went to the Pinole office and calling my insurance. My insurance said the pre-authorization request they received is blank with no procedure codes of the filling procedures. The front desk person then told me that I dont have to work with them, and she wanted me to go to different dentists.
