Master bathroom remodel was completed by CalBear Construction. I reached out to them after the job was finished to come back for a list of issues that have occurred shortly after the job was completed. One person came out on a Saturday and caused more damage to our new bathroom vanity after explaining what the last worker had done and he did the same thing. (Language barrier) I called and they sent a manager out to walk the job. I was told I would hear back and never did. After months I called back and they sent another manager out. Same thing. **** notes said they would repair the damages from the installation. I never heard back. I followed up via phone and was then told to send a list of the problems in questions. This is after 2 managers were out to walk the job she still asked me to send her a list of the issues. That was on 11/13/23. I was told on 11/14/23 that it was being sent to the production team. Now they wont return my calls or texts.

Good morning **************** Thank you for being a client of Calbear Construction. The installation of his cabinet was on August 6, 2022.Service was performed on that cabinet on Saturday September 17, 2022 because the handles needed adjusting. The installer adjusted the handles on the doors and drawers, leaving the drawers in perfect condition. In April 2023, you made a complaint on Yelp saying that you had contacted us and that no one answered your calls. When searching the call logs, we did not find any, which led us to contact you without any luck.We were finally able to contact him and carried out an inspection on May 31, 2023.Upon carrying out the inspection we have determined that the damage generated in your vanity was not generated by any of our employees but rather due to the poor structure of the vanity. The way the manufacturer made these drawer fronts is wrong and that does not allow a good installation of the handles without damaging the front because they only used a 1/4 inch material instead of 3/8 which is corresponding .The month after your last contact we placed an order for new drawer fronts from the same manufacturer which will be installed next week when you can give us an answer on the day we can access your property.Calbear Construction is not responsible for any manufacturing defects in materials supplied by the customer. But in this case, as a responsible company, we try to help as much as possible within the limits that the materials allow us.Thank you and we will be contacting you today

Bathroom remodel, tile installation was done incorrectly, all insulation removed and a pipe installed in wrong spot. Grout turned to powder and has cracked in all corners and along walls. Broken tiles installed. Job done in 2021. Very unprofessional to be asking for repairs since May . Calbear wants to put a band aid on the problem rather than doing the job correctly.

We went to the customer house to fix the grout about a month ago
I have a meeting  with them this Wednesday to check the job again

Calbear broke a tile and popped grout out while doing the repair listed above. They were called within 15 minutes of the repairman leaving and informed of the new break and never called me back. This week a crack all the way across the back wall has appeared and ******* the owner of Calbear came out and looked at it said he would call me the next day and I havent heard from him. The grout installed had turned powder originally and weve asked him multiple times to replace it all and they will not do that. The powdered grout allows moisture to get in so when the temperatures went from 30 to 80 overnight the whole wall cracked. I will file a new report  if I dont hear back from ******* by tomorrow.
      Thank you,

      Good afternoon
Our company hire an forensic tile specialist having the inspection the 2dn week of may
The grout problem comes from the manufacturer we already place a complaint  on that
The crack line on the tile its a transfer line from the backing  something  that we will replace soon
I already transfer this information  to the customer
So we will be replacing the grout on the walls only and replace some tiles on the back wall too
I will be in contact  with the customer for scheduling

I signed a contract on August 26th 2021 to have my kitchen counters re-done, new sink, faucet, garbage disposal and kitchen painted with two electrical outlets updated. I paid them over $7000.00 for the materials needed and to get started. October 27th 2021 is when they finally sent someone to start the demolition part. (Two-2 months later). He proceeded with the counters and the destroyed my cabinets. The next day, after I complained, Valentino came by, (The person I signed the contract with), to try and resolve and figure out what to do. I was charged another $4323.00 for a new base cabinet to be built which was their fault. I paid it that day because he said nothing could be done unless I pay for a new base. I was told he would expedite the job and estimated two weeks. ******* from the office estimated 18 days. I waited patiently with no use of my kitchen or able to wash clothes because laundry pipes are connected to kitchen plumbing which I have no use of either. I've been calling them on almost a daily basis since then, (Since no one calls me) and have received nothing but empty promises. It will be ready in 2 days, it's not finished being built yet, we'll can start on Wednesday, and so on. Last empty promise I got was November 23rd saying they would arrive Monday morning (11/29/2021) to start and finish by Friday 12/3/2021. Well, here it is Friday the 29th and now they're telling maybe Thursday 12/2/2021. I'm a D.A.V. in a wheelchair and need my kitchen fixed. I feel I have been patient and inconvenienced more than long enough. As I write this now it has been over 3 months since signing the contract and over 4 weeks of no kitchen, water, laundry, inconvenience, and empty promises. Please HELP me.
