THEFT INCIDENT at Placentia Linda Hospital. With acute stomach flu pain and other critical issues, i was admitted from ER and was hospitalized for day and half at Placentia Linda Hospital. Although it is a small hospital it was close to me and I didnt have any doubt since it is our community hospital. Not only I feel worse physically after the discharge but found out someone stole all of my cash out of my wallet during the stay. I was shocked and wordless when I found out my wallet was empty. Not knowing I would be hospitalized, walked into ER with my purse, wallet, etc. I wouldve never thought of this to ever happen. Only people that came into the room were nurses and to think someone who works in healthcare industry to act in such low morale and dignity sickens me to stomach. One nurse kept asking how much cash I had and didnt bother to offer me a safe or bag to place my items. How can someone do this to people who are at most vulnerable time in their life? When i called the unit to report so called supervisor nurse didnt even apologize and said only thing she can do is to properly educate her staff. I understand since its large amount of cash being stolen i have slim chance of recovery. However whoever the suspect is, i could tell this is not her first time crime. I felt that this really needs attention and for people in our community to be alerted if they are ever hospitalized here. Something like this should NEVER ever happen to anyone when they are hospitalized. I am super disappointed and felt stupid for thanking these health providers constantly for working so hard. Be aware and please go some where else if you think of going to Placentia Linda hospital. Not only they provided poor medical care and overloaded me with unnecessary medical treatment where i have worse medical condition now but they think it is not a big deal when patients money was stolen in the *** unit room.

I will never get over the trauma this hospital caused me and I regret not taking the time to get a lawyer and come for them. December 2020, I came to get a tubal ligation which is when a woman gets their tubes removed (they are no longer tied or burned). This is an incredibly vulnerable position to be in as they lift your lower body up, (facing your ******** to the ceiling) while they blow the belly up with a gas so they can lapriscopically remove the fallopian tubes. When I went in for my procedure, I felt like the ****************************** thought I was a SW because of the way I was being treated in comparison to other patients. An anesthesiologist and a frat boy with a blonde mullet come to prep me. The over eager frat boy comes over to listen to my heart but he practically had his head down my shirt while simutaneously lifting it so much, he was getting a full view of my b****** I felt so uncomfortable that I gave the anesthesiologist a look like "HELP". I'll never go into a surgery without a friend/family member there to advocate for me ever again pandemic or not. I think the worst is over when they leave.A female nurse then comes to take me to the OR. She got me to the hallway where I began crying and expressing how I didn't understand why there were so many men involved in my surgery. She didn't stop the bed or anything. I felt helpless. We get to the door and there's, eager as ever, the frat boy with the blonde mullet at the window about to watch my procedure. I remind you this is an anesthesiologist student who could watch any other surgery down the hall and they chose the room with the crying girl with the v***** facing the ceiling instead? Turns out that student was not even authorized to be there and hospital management admitted that was not acceptable. I ended up filing a police report, and that was that. Here I am a year later still traumatized by the whole thing. Now I don't trust doctors or hospitals and I can't look at my scars because of the *****
