I bought an 9mm FMK G9C1 Elite Pro with ****** Red Dot through a **** Army BX in **************** on May 13, 2023. First time I took this gun to the range and from time to time it does NOT go to battery, which means after firing off a round or three, the slide would NOT go all the way forward; it hangs by one or two 16ths of an inch. I would have to tap the slide with my other hand to get it to move forward. I've field strip this pistol, cleaned it and it oiled it several times. I've taken this pistol to the range a few more times and I've fired over 90 rounds before I decided to contact FMK about the issue. *** contacted them via emails, and Ive spoken to a Mr. ********************* on the phone. Whenever I talk to him on the phone, he sounds like he is just stalling me. In the emails, they asked me the amount and brand of rounds I use. Mr. ********************* asked how I was holding their pistol. I'm a retired Navy Chief of 24 years, I'm no gun expert, but being required to maintain certain weapons qualifications while in the service, and personally owning several guns of different types and calibers for several years now, I guess I can say that Im competent enough to use guns. ************** insists on getting me to lock my shooting arm when Im shooting their pistol. He said if I did not hold the pistol like he suggested I would have too much of a snap going while firing the pistol, causing the slide to hang, and not go all the way forward. Ive taken this pistol out to the range a couple more times since talking to him on the phone. I held the pistol as suggested and surprisingly I was able to empty my first magazine without the slide hanging, but when I replicated the situation with a second fully loaded magazine, the slide failed to function after shooting 2 rounds. The slide once again FAILS to go to battery, no matter how I hold it. The OTHER THING I noticed the whole time I was testing this pistol is that the ****** FastFire3 Red Dot it came with WOULD NOT STAY ZEROED.
