Creekside is seeking payment for work which was not completed. The original quote and scope had $5000 to refinish wood flooring and this was not done. After the completion of the project they have received full payment for the work they completed. It was only after the payment was complete they came back demanding the additional $5000 for the flooring scope which was not done. There have been calls, texts and emails threatening liens on our house amongst other things if we do not pay them for the work they didnt do.

      Dear Valued client,
First of all, it was a pleasure working with you both throughout the project. We are happy that the job was completed to your satisfaction. We understand there is a misunderstanding regarding the amount owed for the work done.
To address your concerns, we would like to clarify the situation:
No Liens Filed: We have not submitted any mechanical liens on the property. We have reached out to resolve the situation in good faith.
Scheduled Meeting: We have a meeting scheduled on June 27th from 9:00 to 9:30 AM to discuss this matter further.
Scope Change: In our original contract, it was decided that the hardwood floors in the kitchen area would be refinished. However, after the project started, you requested a change to install vinyl flooring instead of refinishing the hardwood. This change required additional labor to demolish the old hardwood floors.
Change Order: You then requested vinyl flooring throughout the entire first floor, and we sent over a change order for this additional work. Unfortunately, we did not specify the exact square footage of the flooring included in the change order, and the kitchen area was not included in the change without a revision to the first contract.
Stage Payment: The $5,000 stage payment mentioned in the first contract was for refinishing the floors. While it is true that refinishing the floors in the kitchen was not completed, we did replace the floors as per your request. The stage payment does not directly reflect the price of the work done but is a progress payment stage as the work is being completed. Refinishing or redoing the floors only in the kitchen is not valued at $5,000; it is part of the overall project payment structure.
Professional Work: We put in a lot of professional work on your property, and the $5,000 payment represents a significant portion of our profit. We acknowledge that there were mistakes on our end regarding communication and documentation.
We are happy to meet with you on June 27th to discuss all aspects of this situation. We are confident that we can reach an agreement together. It has been a pleasure working with you, and we look forward to resolving this matter amicably.
      Sincerely,
      ******************
