Complaint taken in dictation by BBB rep ** 7/11/24 I dropped my car for wash and return to find the car key had been melted. When I asked for there insurance policy information to address the damages, they refuse to provide it. Offering only an email address instead. They then demanded that I pay for the service, effectively holding me captive, as I was left out side in 100 degree weather I had to call the police for standby to resolve the issue. When the police arrive, they intervene and help to resolve the situation. The original cost of the car wash was $45, and the reduce the replacement key fee of $30, How ever its important to note that business are legally require to provide there insurance information when accused of damaging property. Under California civil code this law mandates that businesses must disclose there insurance details to the resolution for disputes. This Business does not contact there self professionally or treat there customers with respect, business are require to corporate especially when negligence is involved on there part. It was an unnecessary painful experience and it should have never happened to start with.Initial Complaint

I made advance payment for 5 Car Washes to get a discount. The advance payment of $100 was made using **** credit card pre-covid in 2019. The owner had a note book where he staples the receipt of advance payment with my name on that page. Whenever I get a carwash, I sign in that note book on my account page. Once I have reached five car washes I make advance payment for next five car washes. I have done this deal before also with this Carwash business.I went to this business for Carwash , weeks back & asked to check how many carwashes remaining on my account with the advance payment since I hadn't come for long time to get carwash due to travel & Covid. The owner's son (manager) pulled the note book out. ****** both together checked in notebook that all five carwashes still remain. They were very busy so asked me if I can come next time for Carwash. I agreed & left.I went there again & my car was washed, but manager refused to honor remaining car washes which I already paid for.
