I purchased 6 month membership from 04/04/2024 to 10/05/2024 (extended to 12/04/2024 as a deal). The owner closed the store on 06/06 without any refund to me. Would like to get at least a partial refund.

As per the gym's policy, I gave my 30-day cancellation notice of my month-to-month membership on 10/12/2023. I made my last payment on 10/14/2023for the next cycle, as it was within the 30-day notice window. I put this request in writing via text, email, and formal cancellation form. The owner responded until I sent the final corrected version of the form on 10/12/2023, then did not respond. On 11/14/2023, the gym attempted to charge me for the monthly membership again ($129). When I inquired, the owner claimed that I did not sign the request document, so I forwarded him the initial email with the signed document attached to prove that I did. He did not respond again but sent a collection agency to collect $362.50 from me. I have no idea what this excess charge is for, and furthermore should not have been charged again to begin with. I request the formal withdrawal/correction of the collection agency claim, and that this information be shared with other potential customers, as I seem to not be the only one to experience this issue according to online reviews.

***** the owner threatened me by getting close to my face and yelled at me while pointing his finger in my face when I asked why he is shutting down so often and not adjusting the membership dues to reflect the operating hours. He constantly lies to members about him closing the ********* location. He says that he's doing remodeling but no remodeling is done. He isn't always open during the times posted on the location window nor his website. He charges the same amount and reduced his hours and days he is open at the location. He shut off his power but tells people that his power was affected because charging stations are being installed. In the high temperatures he has no air conditioning running which can be very uncomfortable to work out in. Other businesses right next to him have power and are running just fine. When asking to freeze the contract he charges a monthly fee do do so. Other members have asked him when he will open on Fridays and Saturdays but he said he doesn't have the staff. When signing a contract one would expect to have a service rendered for what you are paying for. He closes the location on Fridays through Sundays as it is and now posts a sign that he will be closed on a Monday and Wednesday and a whole week in august. How are people expected to be able to get the service they are paying for if he closes up so often. His way around it is "you can go to the ********** location" which is 10 miles away- who wants to drive there when the ********* location is in the members neighborhood? And also drive in the 580 traffic? Especially to deal with a man that would get into a woman's face yelling loudly and not move away when you ask him to step away? Hello, I have been a member of 9 rounds Fitness, Livermore since April 2022. The experience at the gym has not been conducive due to the owners (*******************) unprofessional behavior. On Nov 2nd, 2022, I wanted to cancel my membership and approached the owner for the same. The moment I said I wanted to cancel my membership; his attitude changed towards me, and he became rude. He asked to me leave the gym by using cuss words. He was not willing to cancel the membership while I was at the gym facility and said he will send me the cancellation form via email. I received the cancellation form, which I had filed and submitted back to the gym on Nov 3rd, 2022. Ever since, I have not received any acknowledgement of membership cancellation. When ask for the same, ******************* mentioned that the cancellation confirmation will be sent after the final payment is made. Final payment was made on Nov 18th, 2022 and I still have not received any acknowledgment. Based on 9rounds 1-star yelp reviews for his Livermore facility and ********** facility, the owner has a bad reputation of overcharging his customers even after they have cancelled their membership. I worried that the same might happen to me since he has not sent the cancellation confirmation yet. Also, I have been asking for monthly invoices for the month of September, October, and November. He refuses to send me invoices for the bill that was already paid. I have not received any and every time I had to make personal request to receive my invoices for previous months.I feel threatened, approaching the gym facility in person. Kindly assist in obtaining cancellation confirmation and invoices for the month of September, October and November. Thanks, and Regards ********

I have never been to this location, and yet somehow I was added to their email distribution list. I have hit the "Unsubscribe" button countless times, and yet I am still getting relentlessly spammed by ads. Literally multiple email campaign ads DAILY from this specific location. I have attempted to contact the business as well, and no change to the amount of emails I am getting. At this point, it's approaching harassment.
