      The automated rental payment system at 777 Place in ****** that we have used the entire time we have been renting the apartment for our son has not been working for over two months. The rental office claims to have sent an email alerting residents to the problem with technology that was caused by a system change. We did not receive said email and those pay the rent live in ******************* and are not able to hand deliver a check. When we attempted to use the system and it didn't work we called the office several times to resolve the issue. Nobody answered the phone and nobody returned our messages. We resorted to calling the maintenance man and having him walk to the office and ask people in the office to answer the phone. This was after our son went to the office to enquire about the problem and got nowhere. The office explained that the system was down and we had to write a check including a late fee of $187.00. Fast forward one month and we attempt to pay the rent on time via the automated resident portal system only to discover that it remains inoperative. Once again we attempt to call the office and corporate headquarters. The phone system for the office also is inoperative and there is no answer at corporate headquarters. Our son has spoken to those in the office and was informed that they would not call us to explain the situation and our son was also informed that they did not send out emails to residents telling them that the system remained inoperative. They stated that we need to send another check with an additional late fee of $187.00. This is unacceptable. We do not feel that we should have to pay a penalty because 777 Place's resident payment portal is inoperable. As usual we are happy to pay the rent, but expect the late fee to be waived. And we would like credit for last months late fee given that we had no notification. We are considering hiring a lawyer if this is not resolved.

      The outer door knob was loose and not secured. As a result, the door was loose and if you pulled hard enough, it opened without unlocking it. The floor panel on the bottom of the door panel was old wood and looked like it had been chewed on and was rotted. The apartment smelled strongly like dog and/or human urine. The smell was so rancid we could not remove our masks and needed to keep the front door open. After we left, the smell lingered on us. I developed a headache as well as felt nauseous. I tried opening the cupboards and a few of the drawers in the kitchen; however, they were completely stuck and would not open. It appeared as if they were painted shut. In the bathroom, the shower rod was old, rusted and molded. The blinds in the bedroom hand fingerprints, stains and dried mucus on them. The unit had live bees inside. he window was broken. It appeared as if someone threw a rock at it and the window shattered. This apartment is uninhabitable !
