      This is by far the absolute WORST apartment I have ever lived in. The homeless and drug addicts take over, steal, break into cars and apartments and the leasing office does NOTHING. With the exception of one person, EVERYONE in that leasing office has a terrible "I am better than you attitude" and when complaining about the growing homeless drug addicts, they tell us there is nothing they can do and to call the courtesy patrol - here is the kicker, the courtesy patrol is for the college right next to us and they rarely respond. There was a person that OD'ed in our hallway less than 10 feet from where there are small children, and these people hide out in the stair ***** to watch and see when people leave so they can wash their laundry and do drugs in our laundry rooms (and yes there are children ALL OVER the complex). I have ring footage of addicts back and forth in our hallways all day long. They don't put in maintenance requests when asked so people get stuck with leaky faucets, faulty electricity or worse. They watch you with your dogs and there has been a huge dog stealing ring going on (a neighbor was assaulted on the premises and her dog stolen, along with other personal items). Beware of the hidden fee's that magically appear on the resident portal, fight it EVERYTIME, they will try to bully you into paying some bogus fee. I would definitely say rent at your own risk or pick a freeway and set up shop because this place is a drug addict away from becoming skid row. They are SUPER overpriced for the mess we deal with and to not have a dining room or at least 2 parking spaces (some people have 2 parking spaces though, and they've done nothing about these people having 2 parking permits when everyone else has one. This place only got a single star because you can't post the review without at least a one-star rating and there isn't enough space in the world for all that's wrong with this apartment or homeless shelter; I am not sure anymore.

      i honestly dont know where to start, i have been a risdent here for over 2 years and seen alot of changes go from good to bad. i say this because i was recently renovating a small unit that was honestly over priced for what it was offering. evidently i find it funny that i aparently "didn't pay rent" for three months but had recipts and was told that if i didnt fork out $3500 in the following 3 days that i would be evicted from the premsises along with my family. when i brought up the situation,they stated that they could find the recipts even though i have proof of payments, they still told me i had to pay them regardless to avoid eviction, so i did what i was told. next thing you know, we get told great news that weve been approved for a bigger apartment, but we had a credited balance of $$$, which they told us that they would write a check out for me for the money that was on that balance. however its already been three months since i received anything. i keep asking them about the status of the payment but they keep giving me the run aorund. its just really unprofessional how they would threaten to evict me becuase i "wasnt paying rent" (again i did, because i had proof of recipts) but they can withhold the overpayment. it seems ive hit a dead end and i have no help when it comes to this. if someone can point me in the right direction of what to do i would greatly apprectiate it.

      The automated rental payment system that we have used the entire time we have been renting the apartment for our son has not been working for over two months. The rental office claims to have sent an email alerting residents to the problem with technology that was caused by a system change. We did not receive said email and those pay the rent live in Northern California and are not able to hand deliver a check. When we attempted to use the system and it didn't work we called the office several times to resolve the issue. Nobody answered the phone and nobody returned our messages. We resorted to calling the maintenance man and having him walk to the office and ask people in the office to answer the phone. This was after our son went to the office to enquire about the problem and got nowhere. The office explained that the system was down and we had to write a check including a late fee. Fast forward one month and we attempt to pay the rent on time via the automated resident portal system only to discover that it remains inoperative. Once again we attempt to call the office and corporate headquarters. The phone system for the office also is inoperative and there is no answer at corporate headquarters. Our son has spoken to those in the office and was informed that they would not call us to explain the situation and our son was also informed that they did not send out emails to residents telling them that the system remained inoperative. They stated that we need to send another check with an additional late fee.

      We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that was caused while the portal was down. Communication was sent on November 19th, 2021 notifying residents that the resident portal would be inactive until further notice. The leasing office reserves the right to require at any time that rent be paid via physical check, as stated in section 11 of our Lease Contract. Late fees are posted to the account if rent has not been received by the 4th of the month, and are non-negotiable.
