I was told my car would be towed in 25 minutes which then turned into repeatedly being promised 45 minutes, 2 hours etc. until a total of 5 hours went by before my car was towed. I called in the tow request at 5:45PM on May 12 and was towed at 10:45PM later that evening. This is the second time this has happened in 2 years. The previous incident, I waited 9 hours for a tow.

The incident happened on March 9, 2023 at 12:20am. I was alerted by a neighbor that Tow Zone was illegally attempting to tow my car. My husband and I ran out to stop the tow company from taking my vehicle off the property. My car remained on the apartment complex property the entire time. My husband and I asked employees from the tow company repeatedly to release my car from the lift because I was in my designated parking space. The employee "****" told me, "you can pay me $100 now or I could take it to the tow yard and you can pay a lot more." The apartment complex manager was alerted of the illegal tow and did nothing to stop the tow company from attempting to take my vehicle off of the property. Even after multiple attempts of asking the tow company to release be car they refused. Reluctantly we gave them $100. Even after my situation the tow company continued to tow more vehicles that were parked in their designated parking spots. Later on the morning I contacted the supervisor property manger and told him of the ordeal and he said that should have never happened and I will talk with the tow company about your $100. The supervisor contacted me and said I could retrieve my $100 from the tow company. I drove to the tow company at 4pm March 9, 2023 and said I was there to get my $100 that was owed to me and I was told to come back the next day during business hours. I said your business hours state that the company is open until 5pm. They say "sorry I do not know what to tell you." I went back the next day at 3pm and asked for the $100 and was told that I need to call "****" to receive my money. I was given the number and he said he would bring it later that night. A receptionist came to my house asking me to sign a paper stating that I received my money and that I free Tow Zone of any claims. I refused to sign. I said I would just like a regular receipt. I was told, "IF YOUR WANT YOUR ******* MONEY SIGN THE ******* PAPERS!" I still have yet to receive my money.

My car was towed from a parking lot where there was no signs of it being private property. When I contacted the company that towed my car, they would not give me any information. They said I had to go in person so they could verify I was the person on the vehicle registration. When I went in person, no one would answer my question on why it was towed. They just kept telling me that I can contact a manager a week later cause he would not be in. I was able to contact a manager by the name of **** ********* (or so he claims that's his name) and he said he didn't have to answer anything and I would have to pay to have my car released because he "said so" and said if I had a problem to "*************" who says these sorts of things in a professional setting. He is also supposed to provide credit card payment which he doesn't. He only takes cash. That seems very skeptical. This seems like a scheme to rob people and not claim taxes since it's all in cash

On August 16,2021 around 8:00pm my car broke down, I needed a battery, I parked it in a parking space in front of ********************************** a Metro PCS store. I wasn't going to leave the car there long. The parking lot is Private Property, and there weren't any (WILL BE TOWED) signs any where. On August 17, 2021 around 12:00 noon I returned with a battery to find the car wasn't there. On August 18, 2021 I found out that TOW ZONE Towing had towed my vehicle, and it was towed On August 17, 2021 around 1:20 am. It was not even 6hours before they towed it. When I called TOW ZONE Towing for the first time On August 18, 2021, they were charging me $400 cash to get my car out. I didn't have the money. On August 23, 2021 I visited their place of business, they were charging me $960 to get my car out. I told them I only have $500 on my debit card, they said they'll give me my car back for $600 then they said $550...TOW ZONE Towing committed an action known as "predatory towing".
