I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against the dental practice that recently treated me. I was persuaded by the dentist to replace all of my fillings, which included five silver fillings and two resin fillings that were installed in June ********************** good condition.I consented to the replacement of four silver fillings, but was not informed that my resin fillings would also be replaced until after the drilling had begun. On December **, 2023, the practice proceeded to replace four silver fillings (teeth #3, 14, **, 19) and two resin fillings (teeth #8, #9 without providing me with a clear explanation beforehand).Following the procedure, once the anesthesia wore off, I began to experience intense pain from tooth #** due to a cavity that had not been fully filled. Despite multiple attempts to contact the practice through their emergency lines and text message, I received no response.To make matters worse, the practice is closed on Mondays, leaving my tooth and nerve exposed and vulnerable for 4-5 days before they can address the issue. Had the original silver fillings been left in place, my teeth would not have suffered this damage.In conclusion, this practice has caused more harm than good, and I believe this constitutes a case of dental malpractice.
