      Buyers beware using this company Amtech appliances will be one of the worst mistakes you have ever made 6 to 8 weeks now and our freezer and refrigerator is still not working. The technicians that they use are incompetent. Any professionalism whatsoever the company send you platitude rather than fix the problem, and when it all is said and done, they will blame you the person who is paying for their services rather than fix the problem. We have been dealing with having four or five different technicians sent to our home only to make the problem worse do not use this company under any circumstances .

While we understand your frustration, we believe that reviews should be fair and include all relevant information, not solely personal feelings.To provide context to your experience with ANtech Appliances:Work Order and Initial Response: We received the work order from American Home Shield (AHS) on July 16, 2024. Despite the short notice, we rescheduled another client to accommodate your urgent needs and sent our master technician to your residence on the same day.Technician's Findings: Upon inspection, our technician found the refrigerator in extremely poor physical condition, with parts missing and others apparently broken due to physical force. Given these findings, it was necessary to report the condition to AHS before proceeding with any repairs. Our technician documented the state of the appliance with photographs and a detailed report.Required Part Replacement: The technician identified that the evaporator fan motor was damaged and required replacement to restore the refrigerator to its normal cooling condition. However, he did not have this part on hand. Per our company policy, the technician must order the original factory part and could not comply with your directive to purchase it from Home Depot.Company Policy on Aggressive Behavior: It is our company policy that technicians leave the premises immediately if they encounter aggressive behavior from homeowners or tenants. This policy is in place to ensure the safety and well-being of our staff. Unfortunately, due to your aggressive behavior, our technician was compelled to leave your home immediately. This incident was also reported to AHS.Approval Process: Approval from AHS is crucial and mandatory for us to proceed with any repairs. The authority to approve repairs lies solely with AHS. We have submitted the required documentation to AHS .Recommendation for ******* Service Provider: Given your frustration with our company, we have recommended to AHS that they assign another service company to handle your refrigerator repair. We believe this will ensure that your concerns are addressed promptly and to your satisfaction.We take all feedback seriously and strive to address all concerns thoroughly and professionally.       Its impossible to get a status update on a work order. Theyve come out multiple times and we still dont know what next steps are. Even after a week, theyll say the report isnt available yet. When you ask to speak with a supervisor, theyll say you should hear from them within 24 hours and yet after a week will say they have no record of requesting a callback. If you have a choice, dont use this company.

      Technician ********* lied and falsified documentation, so that he did not have to fix my broken ice maker. After multiple phone calls informing them of their incorrect documentation, they continue to state they are unable to make any changes to the false document that was sent to American Home Shield. The customer service representative was extremely rude and unwilling to be of any help. Continue to talk over me and tell me there is nothing they can do. The lack of empathy or willingness to work for the 'customer is always right' attitude is extremely apparent.

      DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. ACTUALLY ZERO STARS BUT I HAD TO GIVE THEM 1 IN ORDER TO POST AND WARN THE PUBLIC....THEY HAVE RACIST TECHNICIANS. THIS IS OUR WORST EXPERIENCE EVER WITH RACISM IN ********* ***IF YOUR HOME WARRANTY *** SUGGESTS THEM TO YOU (LIKE AMERICAN HOME SHIELD DID) INSIST ON GETTING ANOTHER COMPANY ASAP OTHERWISE YOU ARE JUST WASTING YOUR TIME. IF YOU READ THIS POST AND STILL TRY WORKING WITH THEM I GUARANTEE YOU WILL REGRET IT IMMEDIATELY.

      Never dealt with a worse company. -Zero would be too high a review. I am a 94 year old widow and they left me without use of my refrigerator for almost three months. they sent four different technicians and each one misdiagnosed the problem ,needing a different part and taking almost two weeks to come back to report that it was not the part needed and the same story was repeated. I have insurance with them and was foolish enough to believe they would end up fixing it but the third one that came made the freezer part which was working stopped working completely leaving me without ice to use the refrigerator to at least be able to get some dairy products and not be eating just frozen and canned foods for months. I ended up be calling another company which fixed it the same day but charged $3300 dollars which I will try to recover from Antech which is a company that doesnt even need to exist

      I would give them a zero if it was available. **************** *****, the technician was rude. This is the second time using them. I didnt have a choice. My home warranty does not give me a choice. My service window was between ****pm. No one showed up. I tried calling them direct. No one answered the phone. Just overall horrible. Dont know how they stay in business

      The service person called when he was 15 minutes away, arrived on time, explained the standard procedures and the next steps that would occur, took the necessary photos, and finished his inspection. The whole process took perhaps 10 minutes. He was efficient and professional.

      DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They do not have your best interests in mind. If you are sent to them as a 3rd party for extended warranty repairs (Best Buy uses them), ask for a different provider.We bought our refrigerator through Best Buy and were sent to Antech Appliances for the extended warranty repair (the compressor died). They sent a tech out to look at what needed repair and he was there for 5 minutes. I'm not kidding. Turned the unit on and made the diagnosis on the spot because of the nose it was making. Paid him $120 (for the call) with the understanding that it would be put towards the repair labor costs ($197/hr!) when the replacement part came in. A week goes by and I haven't heard from them. Called them for a status update and they said they had just sent the ticket to the manufacturer only the day before and that I need to contact the manufacturer as they will now handle the repair and that they are no longer involved.No contact to me. No update on the process during the week of waiting. So now I'm out $120 for a 5 minute diagnosis call and I have to start the process over with the manufacturer.The representative I spoke to had no remorse about the $120, no empathy that I've been out a refrigerator for a week, and no apology was offered at the lack of communication.I'm reaching out to Best Buy as well to remove Antech Appliances from their list of providers.

      Honestly these are a scammers , I can say ********* mafia , you might not believe me and think this is a movie here you go: I called my home insurance warranty they send this company , sure they charged me $128 just to visit and fix my brand new refrigerator, so they came take a look at the refrigerator said need defrosting and draining ( what they did not know this refrigerator do not have drainage or ice maker ) just lied , left and the same problem came again , they said 30 days warranty I called them they asked me to call again and request re-Visit another $128 , they came they left same problem , called them again and they said I'm blackmailing them had they hang up on me and called me racist and white trash and and ********* hater , unfortunately for them I thought they ate Russian as I don't know the difference honestly and I feel bad as I really thought they ate Russian , long story short they also did the same scam with my friends and my neighbor , I cancelled my home warranty went strain to GL appliance and they fixed the problem , I reported this scam to FTC end consumer protection bureau so be aware of this company !!!!

      Poor communication to the customer and not flexible whatsoever. I doubt they could function properly without being part of a home warranty business
