The business involved makes roof top tents for vehicles. I ordered a tent from this company on April 4th, 2022. This item in question was a new item and stated at the time of buying it, that it would not be available until the second week of April. I was okay with that. I then got an email stating that it would not be ready until the third week of April. I was also okay with that. On April 24th, 2022, I sent an email to see if there was any updates in the order. *****, who I assume is the business owner, stated that the tops were not ready yet and they were waiting for those to come in. That it would be sent by the end of the week or even sooner. That was on April 25th, 2022. I then waited until May 9th to send another email. Which then I was told no later than that Wednesday. I received the item on May 12th, 2022. Upon receiving the item, I realized three things, the ladder that I bought was missing, the brackets to connect to the car are missing, and lastly, there are zero instructions in the box OR their website on how to put the tent together. A little more backstory to the instructions. They claim to have a patent on their website on the process of sending the tent out in parts for the customer to put together with "lego" instructions." This is to save money on shipping. They also offer to ship it fully built and put together but it costs $300 more AND costs doubled the price in shipping. I opted to put it together myself however, I still do not have the instructions to do so. I called the day I received the item on the 12th, was told the instructions would be up on their websites the next day. Today is now Tuesday, May 17th, 2022, and there are still no instructions. I have sent numerous emails and I haven't gotten a response to my frustration. I haven't gotten a response to the missing bracket and it took an email from ***** to realize they shipped the ladder after claiming it was their fault as a missing package (It was not, with proof.)
