            On 11-1-2022 ******** and ***************************** called ***************************** at Body Mechanics Body Shop. We agreed to meet at his shop about 30 minutes later. ****** was not there. I called him and he said he was at ********** and would arrive shortly. ****** arrived about 5 to 10 minutes later. ****** looked over the truck and agreed to put a used door on my daughter's truck and take some dents out. We have the signed paper. We agreed on a price and ****** wanted all the money up front and was pushy about it. We paid ****** via **** Debit card a total amount of $****** with the knowledge that the repairs would take place and be completed on Thursday November 3, 2022. I never received a response from ****** confirming he received the door. We agreed that Thursday morning November 3, 2022 we would bring the truck for the repair work.I wanted to confirm this company received the door . I called at 8:03 a m and then not only called several times and texted through the day with no response. I have written proof as well as recorded messages I left him. I went online to check any negative reviews about this business and found on Yelp that this business has a practice of not responding to the customers and charging more than the quote, as well as keeping their vehicle for many days past the time frame agreed upon. After reading these reviews about his business practices and broken promises... I needed to confirm the door arrived and would be finished the day promised... However... After several phone calls and text messages.. we have yet to hear from this company. I would like a full refund of the money we spent. I do not want this man to touch our vehicle now. The people in Yelp say he keeps their car weeks and then charges them more. He does not respond to them. It's terrible what he is doing to the customers.I want the full ****** we gave him so we can get my daughter's truck repaired by someone who actually keeps their promises and does not lie.

            BEWARE!!! I purchased a vehicle that was in a collision. I stopped by Body Mechanics and ****** began entering the repairs into his system which determined the cost of part and labor to about the vehicle is worth. As he suggested, I agreed to buy the parts my self and have him do the labor. We first agreed to about $1800.00. After several weeks, he informed that the balance had gone up to over $3000.00. At that point, I told him that that was the *** that I had budgeted for this vehicle and he agreed on that amount. After several more weeks (****** rarely shows up to work), he asked me to come to his office upon which he showed another revised estimate of $5600.00. His reasoning was that that's how he does with insurance companies (he just continues to add expenses). I told him that we had agreed to the $3000.00 amount and that I had not authorized a higher amount. He also knew all along that I was paying out of pocket. He rationalized this by telling me that his business has been slow lately.He was gracious enough to deliver the vehicle without a front bumper on it, excess parts in the trunk of the vehicle and also needing an alignment!STAY AWAY FROM THIS *****!
