******************* does drivers license checks for Lyft. They have been misreporting my drivers license status for over a year now. I have disputed it with them several times and sent them proof that they are not reporting my drivers license status correctly but they have not corrected it. This issue has prevented me from driving for Lyft for a year. It has greatly affected my income. Heres the issue. I have a valid ******** personal drivers license. I had to renew it last January because it was going to expire. When I did Lyft requested a new drivers license check from S H **** They reported that I had a valid personal drivers license issued January *********, which is correct, but they also reported that I have issues pending on a commercial drivers license issued on the same day. This is incorrect. First of all, its illegal to have more than one drivers license. ******** has you go to the license office and pay for a renewal license, take your photo, and they issue a temporary paper license at that time. They mail you the actual license a few weeks later so they can make sure theres no issues with things like suspensions or duplicate licenses. When you receive your license in the mail it actually says on the paperwork that it is illegal to have more than one license. After this issue started I purchased a copy of my ** Drivers Record. It states that I have a valid personal drivers license. It also says that my commercial status is restored-must test. It says that I PREVIOUSLY had a class A CDL. Because I previously had a CDL, if I wanted to get another one, all I have to do is take the test. Starting this year, federal law requires you to take a class before you can take the test. Because I had a CDL before, I only have to take the test if I want to get the CDL again. Because its a new law I am guess S H *** is misreading the report. I just want them to understand what it says and correct it. Thank you for your help.
