Date of Transaction: 1/18/2022 Transaction Amount: $2348.54 Services Provided: Initially came in for Oil Change, Coolant Flush, Tire Rotation, Alignment, Wheel Balancing. Was recommended new Struts and Rack/Pinion. Dispute: **Haven Auto Repair installed Rack/Pinion. Several days later, my engine light came on and figured it was unrelated. After having codes pulled at another shop (Pep Boys), the mechanic advised that Steering Wheel Clock Spring was damaged during Rack/Pinion installation. **I returned with documentation and advised the Haven staff regarding the engine light/code. However, the manager immediately became defensive and replied, "We know what we are doing!". I assured him I wasn't trying to argue but was concerned about the repair code. Perhaps, there may have been an oversight/mistake with the installation. **The management was reluctant to hear my concerns and seemed combative. They advertise a 12-month warranty on their work and offered to repair. However, I do not feel comfortable leaving my vehicle in their possession. **Seeking refund/reimbursement of $524.87 for remove/replace Steering Wheel Clock Spring at Pep Boys. (Receipts Attached)
