      In September of 2018 our Islander pool was ready for use. We were told that the pool including liner would last at least 10 years. Right after installation was complete I called the company back out as the wood around the top was loose and missing screws and that the screws were ***** meaning they were not galvanized steel screws. Company came out, fixed wood but left without speaking to me and ***** screws remained. They were called again but finally just gave up. In May of 2023 the liner came off of the track, more wood is loose, and liner has holes. Contacted Secard and we were told we could get a new liner for $5700 (the deal)as ours had sun damage and we could get a sun shield for it, which seems odd since it was never mentioned at time of purchase. We were given sealant by the company and told that if we used it the liner would last another couple years, but we continue to get holes in liner. Im just so disappointed as this was a huge purchase for our family and it continues to deteriorate.

      We are sorry to hear ****'s experience, but when we build a pool we do a start up with the customer and cover key maintenance items. We even go to the extent of having the customer initial that topics have been covered.In this case, we cover a key maintenance step of simply wiping the vinyl above the water line once per week. When this is not done, it leads to sun rot which is not covered under the liner manufacturer's warranty as it is considered a maintenance issue and not a reflection of the liner itself. We are sorry to hear that ****'s liner did not last as long as both she and us would like to see, but unfortunately we cannot reverse the maintenance and we can only help with a price on a liner.

      Got a pool 4 years ago and the liner is forming holes all over the walls , made contact with the rep (Greg B******) and he indicated that it’s not covered and that we should patch all the holes. Obviously this is manufacturer defect since everyone is complaining about the same thing, I always wonder on the ethics of these companies and if they even educate them self’s on the products and put the extra effort to compile research on the ongoing issues . Also took one year to install a vinyl pool , for reference it took 3 months to build a gunite pool.

      Secard is great at taking your money and installing the pool, but as soon as the product starts to show wear and tear and needs maintenance, they are absent. No response to emails or calls, meanwhile the pool is deteriorating. When you do get a hold of someone, they say they are very bust and will get back to you but never do. Call, pictures, emails, calls later, still nothing. I will need to outside the company to get the repairs, heater, liners in the future. They lost money and future companies because of their lack of service.

      After waiting for nearly 5 months for Secard to respond to my emails, photos, and phone calls to no avail, my pool liner had fallen into the pool and the water had been spilling onto the wood and under the pool, I had no other option but to call another pool liner company who responded to me the next day via email and phone and I asked for a quote. Only after I made a complaint to BBB, did Secard reach out to me to schedule a visit. At this point, it was already too late. So unless Secard wants to do right by its customers and pay half of what I paid for someone else to do what they should I have done when I reached out 5 months prior, I have nothing more to say. I do want to note, that previous to this 5 month long requests to help with the liner falling into the pool, I had spent a year prior requesting that they come out and assist the other side of the pools liner that was falling in and they came after I threatened I would file a complaint with the BBB. Within a month, the other side of the liner was falling in so that began my 5 month long process of reaching out again. Since I did not get a response, I had to find another company to fix the liner. Again, only after I filed with the BBB, did Secard call me back.

      I recently purchased a new Cal Spas Hot Tub from Secard Pool & Spas in Menifee. From start to finish, Antonio and Emma were great, the delivery and removal of my old spa, to setting up the equipment. It was a total breeze! I am very happy with the spa and my experience with Secard Pools & Spas. They have multiple locations. Make them your first choice! P ******

      UPDATED REVIEW SINCE MY 6/30/21 REVIEW: A representative from Secard Pools contacted my husband and I. We had to sign a contract and pay more for Secard to order a new liner. Part of the signed contract states I have to take off the negative BBB review. I called the BBB and the rep wasn't sure how to remove a review. She connected me to another BBB rep and I left a message. I am waiting for a BBB rep to call me back. I am not sure how to take off the June 30 2021 review. After the contract was signed Secard did come out and repatch our liner. The pool is holding water. I did get to swim in it. We are waiting for the new liner from Secard.
