      We waited over a week to give birth. They set a date. Discussed how my wife had *****. Went through every protocol made us wait until clear. Then DAY OF they say they cant cause its been too short of time with Covid. ********** is the worst place I have been and I lived in ****** with their hospital which says a lot. After this Ill never go back. Insane that something so huge can get overlooked as if its a dinner schedule, a baby. A love baby being born. Hundreds of dollars spent hundreds of miles traveled just I be like oh sorry have to wait,

      I have nothing but problems with the offices of pulmonary .I had an appointment for next Wednesday to see my doctor. They called rescheduled my appointment for today. I called to cancel my appointment appointment because I have a woke with a horrible cold and did not think it was good for me to come into the office when I am sick, I wanted to reschedule the only time they could reschedule me for was till the end of April. Why should it take that long for me to see my doctor? I asked the question question and I was told that they would reinstate me and I could come to my appointment today. What kind of bull c*** is that that I am sick? I didnt want to come into the office and spread my germs and now because I asked for a different appointment they tell me to come to that appointment , I have nothing but problems with that office from day one I have no problems with my current doctor at that office but the office itself is horrible to deal with. They dont return calls they dont return messages from my chart. They are just horrible.

      I work for an insurance company, my company requested medical records from Eisenhower on 11/14 and has not received any information. I have called the company at least 20 times with no response, I have left countless messages with no call backs. I have been able to get ahold of someone twice who stated that the medical records were uploaded incorrectly, and that they would give me a call back within two days and both times received no call back. My company's third party vendor has also been contacting them since 11/14 also receiving no response. Due to this lack of communication, our customer will not be able to get a life insurance policy.

      Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to investigate and respond to this concern.

       

      Eisenhower Medical Center received a valid request and it appeared in our electronic health records system that we responded to it appropriately. Thanks to your communication, we investigated further with the vendor and identified a technical issue in the system that prevented the records from being invoiced and sent out. While this appears to be an isolated incident, the vendor is now reviewing to ensure this is not an ongoing issue.

       

      Our Health Information Management department communicated directly with the person who submitted the complaint and provided the records per her instruction (on January 13, 2023) at no charge. Please note that the person confirmed that while she did call several times, she did not attempt to escalate the issue with HIM leadership or request to speak with a manager.

       

      Again, we thank you for giving us the opportunity to respond in order to maintain good standing with BBB. It has given our vendor an opportunity to review the technical concern and, most importantly, we have fulfilled the request.
