In April 2023 we moved back to ** from ********** ****. We now reside in **********. I own Three automobiles that needed to be transported back to **. Two show cars and one daily driver. I called Montway Auto Transport a broker who contacted Elegant Motorsports LLC to move our cars. We had no issues with the cars being transported. Paying twice is the issue ********************* who owns Elegant Motorsports as well as Signature Motorsports LLC said we will need two trailers (two truck drivers) to move the cars back. The show cars would go in one trailer and the daily driver would go in another trail that was headed to ** with other vehicles. The issue: I asked **** how do I pay ($2400.00) for his service? He said get a cashiers check for $2400.00 from a bank send (by text) a photo picture of it to him and they (his office) will cash it at their end. I did. After sending the check, he said ..with two drivers, if I could give them (the drivers) cash that would be easier. He would tell his office not to cash the bank check. My wife also contacted his office via text telling them not to cash the bank check. His son said (via text) that the finance team had went home and they would let them know in the morning to not cash the check. We found out they cashed the check when we deposited it to our account as not used for intended purposes. We were not alerted by ****, at any time, that the check had been cashed. We provided the drivers with cash. After finding out his office cashed the bank check he said not to worry he would make things right. He admits in writing (I have a series of text messages) that he does indeed owe us the $2400.00 and that he has sent us a check. We have received nothing but, excuses. Additionally, Montway Auto Transport has been trying to contact Elegant Motorsports LLC. ***** another owner told ******* they would send a check out for the owed $2400.00. They never sent a check.
