I asked about the accessibility of a defensive driving course before purchasing, after being alerted to some access concerns by my parents who were taking the course. At this time, they are still not providing me with options for *** accommodations even though it is my legal right as a multiply disabled person. Further, the **************** Manager **** shared private information that another customer shared in their chat and phone conversations, which is highly unethical and unprofessional.Business response

Safe2Drive did receive communications from ********* Her original question to us was brought about by needing to click the mouse to remain active, we did respond to her to provide her with an alternative solution. A couple of days later, we received a response from ******** with multiple threats and she suggested that Safe2Drive consult with an attorney before responding to her. In addition, she requested accommodations for a specific software that she uses, and we are researching her request and did respond to her letting her know this, we did not just ignore her requests.
Safe2Drive did not share private information regarding another customer. Her mother reached out to us regarding her concerns and asked the Customer Support Representative to speak to the manager. When the manager reached out and tried to assist her, she specifically told Safe2Drives manager that she would need to answer to her daughter about the concerns and not talk to her. We simply did what our customer asked us to do. The conversation did not involve any confidential information whatsoever, it simply involved us discussing her concerns about the course timers required by the Delaware DMV. Safe2Drive takes the security of our customers information seriously and does not share confidential information with anyone other than the customer.
********************** works very hard to provide our customers with a course that is user-friendly, educational, enjoyable and meets all requirements by law. Not only do we take compliance seriously, but we also know that our customers are the heart of our business and we strive to make every experience the best experience possible. Safe2Drive is investigating ********* request further and we will get back to her once we have a concrete game plan in place.Initial Complaint

This student's father did reach out to us after we had processed their completion record to the ** SOS with the information they provided during registration. The student registers online and provides all of their information as we do not have access to that elsewhere. Safe2Drive would never change a student's information unless they contacted us asking us to do so and we keep detailed notes on any and all communications with our customers. Mistakes happen and we understand that, however, we are charged to process things and once the completion record has already been processed if changes need to be made due to the mistake of the student, we have to pass that charge on to them. This student's father called in very aggressive and abusive to our staff, making threats. Safe2Drive did make a one time exception and processed the changes for them and a new certificate was sent over within 20 minutes of his phone call. Safe2Drive takes pride in being an honest company that looks out for our customers and we will absolutely take responsibility if/when we make a mistake, but in this case, again we had no reason at all to change their gender, all that would do is cause the student and us more work and troubles like this. We have stellar ratings and plan to keep them that way, doing something like changing a gender to collect $10 would not be beneficial at all.
