I signed a property management contract May 2023 with ************************* from PMI Inland Empire. It is now the end of July 2023 and he has not been able to find tenants for my property. He is also not returning my calls or txt messages. The last time I had contact with him was 5 days ago where he was promising to have a qualified applicant. I have sent him over ******************************** renting my property but claims no one has applied to rent the property. I am pretty sure that this company is only selling applications and telling the applicants that they dont qualify because they make more money off the application fees than from collecting the percentage from the house actually being rented. At this point it is causing me a great financial hardship and I am doubting the legitimacy of the business as they are not keeping contact with me.Business response

Our Client **** has hired us to find a tenant and manage her property. When we took over the property we had informed her that the rent she wanted for the property was too high considering the location even though the house was in good condition. As per her request we went ahead and advertised with the high price. I have shown the property for several prospects but few of them applied. We only had 3 people who applied but none of them qualified or did not go through with the process. People she mentioned as 20 leads never applied or called Me. The numbers she forwarded we called back and arranged a showing. As I mentioned above only 3 people applied and we charge only $30.00 per applicant and it mostly goes to the credit and background check company. We do not make money on applications. **** also has an office number and my personal cell phone and we have been communicating with her. Everytime I go there I tell her I have a showing.
I believe she changed her mind about renting the place as it did not get rented at the high price. She used this complaint hoping to get out of her one year management contract with us.
She contacted me and said she wants to get out of the management agreement. I told her that was fine as we do not want to force anybody to use our services and cancelled immediately.
Her desired settlement has already been done and am not sure why she complained to have her contract cancelled to BBB.
Hope this explains our situation and have the complaints removed.
Best regards
