I brought in my mother's wedding ring set in early 2022. I requested a loan and received $400. I called in April 2022 to make sure I didn't miss my due date to pay the loan. Am employee stated that I didn't miss the date and tried to explain something about how I couldn't not pay to extend the loan I would just pay the interest however my loan was quite sure for payment. I called in June 2 2022 and an older gal answered the phone and said that Mt **** was due and paid for on May 31 2022. I proceeded to ask why I did not receive a letter of some sort prior to May 31st being 2 days ago she said they did mail a letter to the address on my driver's license. And she proceeded to tell me that the letter was sent to diamond Street in ******** and it was on my driver's license. And then proceeded to tell her that I've never had a driver's license that had that address and this is not fair the address was college view that's on my driver's license however I live on **** which would have been the address that I provided. She continued to argue with me about what was on my driver's license and that I was wrong and I told her 2 days ago decisions were made and that I now have to purchase back my ring.. she didn't give me a price because it's right before closing I fell very betrayed and belittled and sad because I didn't have a chance to pay my debt and get my mother's ring back who passed away in October 2021 honestly yeah I'll come I would hope and it just be an enjoy receiving is the chance to pay my loan off and I feel like I'm deserved an apologyInitial Complaint

The pawn shop defrauded me in my sale to it of a single strand Mikimoto pearl necklace I purchased for my wife at ******* * **** *** ********** **. The pearls were in the original powder blue velvet storage envelope, stamped ******* * ** in gold, which an employee of the shop factually represented to me was "*** *******", and I quote exactly, shortly after an expert in a back room examined the necklace without any limitation on the time I permitted for the assessment, Then, the employee said they "were not Mikimoto", and I quote exactly. I sold the pearls to the shop at the first price they offered. No negotiation. I reasonably relied upon and believed the lies and based my decision to sell the pearls at the price first offered on the lies. The transaction was not rushed; I took a break from allowing the shop to evaluate other items I presented for sale to fetch the pearls from my car's trunk. When I got home, my wife, whose birthday it was on October 4, told me the facts.
