I arrived for an oil change at this location as I normally did all my maintenance here. Im always prepared for all of the upsell on **************. I declined everything except for my in cabin air filter looked a little dirty I hesitated and then I said go ahead and change it. I asked the gentleman do you think you will have it? He said probably, I watched him go to the computer and then to the wall and I watched him thumb through several filters on the wall and over five minutes later he came back and installed one. He told me it was ***** ended up being $39.99 but something just didnt sit right with me.. I am a single female and I just felt like something was wrong. I went to my car and dropped my glove just to make sure that it was the right filter. I could see instantly the filter did not fit properly. I pulled it out and then I noticed foam tape on both sides to try to help it fit better in the hole. I compared the part number to my invoice and it was not correct! I got enough courage to go back down there and call them out on what they did just to make a sale. Demanded my 40 bucks back and my filter which they told me it was already in the dumpster. no apologies and of course they didn't offer to correct their error because they didnt have it!! I walked into the office and signed a piece of paper and he gave me $40. When I got home, I realized he shouldve given me the sales tax! I called for two days straight because I wanted a copy of the form I signed and my tax back and could not get anyone to phone me back! When I called the first day, after signing the form, I spoke to the guy that gave me the money and he said he would send me a copy of it, but they never did! I want everybody to know this because Im sure Im not the first one theyve done this to! They picked the wrong female!! my daddy didnt raise no fool! I would just make sure they are installing the correct parts or additives!! I had to get my own filter and install it!!
