Bridge Bay at Shasta Lake hosted our wedding in June 2023. We paid a cleaning deposit in the amount $500.00. After assessing the property after our event, ********************* (Event Manager) assured us we will be getting our deposit back in the next few weeks following our event. We had an outstanding purchase for two full kegs that we understood would be deducted from the cleaning deposit to make for an easier transaction. The total cost for both kegs was less than $410.00. This means we would be getting a check for around $80.00. After several weeks of communicating with ****, he notified me that the check is sent in the mail to our home address. This check was never delivered. He cancelled the first check and issued a second one. This was over 30 days ago. I still have not received the check. I contacted **** to let him know. He said he will get back with me. He never got back to me, I have tried calling their front desk numerous times to reach him and leave voicemails and there has been zero communication back. I would like my deposit back and to file a complaint against this business for fraud.
