      Title: Disappointing Experience with SunPower by SeaBright Solar I recently had a solar panel system installed by SunPower by SeaBright Solar, and my experience has been far from satisfactory. Initially, I was drawn in by their promising offers, including access to an app for monitoring my panels' performance and a $1200 rebate from SunPower. Unfortunately, the reality has fallen short of these promises.Firstly, the installation process was delayed, causing unnecessary inconvenience and frustration. No clear communication was provided about the cause of the delay or when it would be resolved, leaving me in a state of uncertainty about the project timeline.Additionally, I was switched to a Time-of-Use (TOU) billing plan with ****** before my system had even received permission to operate. This premature switch has likely affected my electricity bills unfavorably, a situation that could have been avoided with better coordination and planning.To make matters worse, I was promised that my system would include 435 kW panels, but I believe what was installed were 410 kW panels. This discrepancy significantly impacts the efficiency and value of my solar energy system, and it feels like a bait-and-switch tactic.Lastly, the promised app for monitoring my panel performance has not been provided, leaving me unable to access real-time data or insights into my system's efficiency. This lack of transparency is disappointing and undermines the value of investing in solar technology.Overall, my experience with SunPower by SeaBright Solar has been fraught with broken promises, delays, and discrepancies. I expected much more from a company of their reputation and am left feeling misled and dissatisfied with the service provided.

      On Nov 1, 2023 we had our solar panels removed due to getting my roof replaced. Roof was damaged by improper installation of the solar panels. This is the second time this has happened. The 1st time was leaking on one side and it was handled but were reinstalled improperly again because it continued to leak. Not only did it damage the roof, but also the ceiling inside. This was verified by **************************. The inside damage was verified through my insurance. By having the leaks and getting the roof done is how the issue was discovered that the solar installation was the reason along with my previous comment that it was verified by **************************. The total for that repair is $11,047.19. We spoke to *********************** and ************************* on this matter and have yet to hear anything back after a number of attempts by email and by phone. I was contacted by ************************* on Dec 4, 2023 by email asking for information and I immediately replied with pictures and the invoice for the repairs. I did not get any response. I also called twice that day and and the person that answered said he was at a job and would have him call me back.Never got a phone call back. I emailed him again on the 14th of December. Still no response. I called again on Dec 21, 2023 and was told he was gone for the day but they would text or call him to call me asap and I still didnt receive anything. I emailed him again on the 22nd of December and today is Jan 3, **** and still nothing. I have pictures of the roof damage as well as the invoice for the roof and also for the the damage that was caused on the inside.

      The company has contacted us and are coming out to check the roof. But the issue has not been resolved. Until it is I cannot agree that they fixed the issue.

      We signed the solar contract on 4/30/22 and it is currently the end of December 2023 and this project HAS NOT BEEN COMPLETED. There have been delays every step of the way. The company has had a turnover of project managers. There is no accountability for getting the job done. They ignore our emails and phone calls and do not call back. The panels finally got installed in April 2023 a year after the contract was signed but failed the inspection. The problem was fixed and they were operational as of the end of August 2023. They were supposed to upgrade our electric panel and install a Tesla charger as part of the contract. They half did the electric panel and we can't get a hold of them again. They have not requested the inspection for the panel upgrade. They have not installed the Tesla charger. We even filed a complaint with the **************** ****************** after which they started to respond but failed to respond again the state board closed the complaint. We are unable to get this project completed. They received the payment in full as we are financing a loan. We have made all the loan payments. Loan ID ****** with ********************** Financial.

      SunPower by Sea Bright neglected to inform me that my roof was in poor condition when they installed my solar panels 3 years ago. Now, we are being charged at least $ ***** to have the panels removed and replaced to allow for roof replacement. I have reached out to the company 4 times and was not forwarded to someone who could help me. As well, no one returned my call.

      Seabright solar system/ panels installed by them and consequently the roof and ceiling area are now making a very loud vibrating type of sound and they ignore or very slow to respond to my emails and calls for a roofer or someone to fix it. They come around take a look and leave without any reports. They don't know how to fix it and it's been a real problem for my family. They are guessing and need a fix asap. The problem has gone on much too long and they say they will take care of it but they don't.

      Back in February 2023 I signed a contract to lease solar panels from Sun Power/Sea Bright Solar. It is now August 23, 2023 and project is still not done. I contacted the office and spoke with *******, and general manager ****. Neither one is getting back to me with my concerns and this project just keeps dragging on. It is truly disturbing the lack of communication, and the apathy their employees have to get my project done. The current issue I’m having is the solar panels on my roof are uneven, miss lined and out of position. Also the design was wrong and I have brackets on my roof where there is no panel, but one could've been there and not on the front roof as an extra single panel. I was told there was a pipe in the way, but it is not. I attached picture of layout. Recently one of their installers came out to check my electrical panel and agreed that they messed up on layout, but it could easily be fixed with the single panel in front being moved to the missing spot in back where there are already brackets in place with no panel. Also they left trash in my rain gutters and sealant tubes on top of my roof that fell off during the rain on 10/20/23 and almost hit one of my kids. That is why I’m putting in this complaint to hopefully get Sun Power/Sea Bright Solar to awake up and get the job done, like a professional business. Pictures attached of all my concerns.

      We contracted with Seabright in September of 2022 to install a 13.2kW system on our roof. At the time of signing we were told that they were a bit backed up and to expect paperwork to be completed shortly after the end of the year (in early 2023), with an initial permit review scheduled for January. Since then we have been assigned multiple different project managers, been given multiple different answers and timelines which all proved to be inaccurate. We were told on numerous occasions that the paperwork was "a few weeks away" from being completed. Most recently on July 13th we received an email from a project manager we had never previously heard of, advising us that our paperwork was submitted to the local municipality. This is something we were told multiple times had been done months ago. There is no communication, no follow up. Today we received an automated notice from Sunpower with a termination document for us to sign. We didn't request termination, and no one at Seabright could give me an answer as to why this had been sent. We would be losing a significant amount of money going with a different company/install given that our contract with Seabright grandfathered us into NEM 2.0. I feel like I have been patient (it has been a year and I am just now filing a complaint), but at this point it is ridiculous that we do not have finished paperwork/permitting and an install date, and now possibly not even a contract that Sunpower intends to honor.

      I have been a client of SunPower for over 10 years. As of last year, I've had nothing but problems with them. My solar panels aren't hooked up right and my electric bills for the last year range from $700 to $1000 a month. SunPower came out and notice the box wasn't working , so they ordered a new box and the company they had come out to install it said the electrical was set up wrong and they needed to have an electrician come out before they installed new box . That was in the beginning of March 2023. I've called them several times and they give me the run around and say that they will call me the following day . So far, I have not had one call back. It's extremely frustrating! I don't know what is going on with this company and their bad customer service . I would never recommend them.

      Initially, we chose SunPower Solar July 2022 and signed the contract with them. Finally, they installed January 2023. Inspection failed in March 2023. Finally, passed the inspection in April 2023. Still WAITING to use it- they indicated that it was on SCE (Southern California Edisons behalf) that this was delayed and let us know it would be a 2-3 hours waiting on phone if we decided to call them. We were not aware the inspection failed- we were puzzled that it took so long time before we called only to find out that the inspection failed. We asked why it failed and they said they would send us photos, but never did. It is almost going to be a year since we signed the contract, and this is RIDICULOUS. We have even began the payments for what we call "a heap of junk" currently on our roof. It is useless at this point and it is really frustrating. We also are not sure about getting the rebate for 2022 tax year since we signed the contract in 2022 but the solar was installed in 2023.

      The project has been installed for a while and we are only waiting for final Permission to Operate from the utility.  Once received, the customer's system will be turned on since all work had previously been completed.    We have reached out to the client and will address any final payment or system questions once he has a chance to get back to us.   We will be available to address all of his questions and concerns and look forward to serving all his needs for the life of the system.  Thank you.

      I have contacted sunpower regarding their warranty. I was shock to learn they have no warranty department. I talk to customer services and they 100% refuse to do anything for a $30000 solar system that is 3 years old and not producing not even close to what it should. on my data app provided by sunpower it show about 3K KWH less than what they need to produce that been happening for 2 years and I live in San Diego county where we don't get much of weather problem. now according to them they side of the data is higher, and system producing well but how is that possible? I am paying an electrical bill of $367 , the data on my app that is provided by sunpower matches the under performant of the system, but yet they claim my data is wrong , that is their data that is ok . they need to honor their warranty that says that their solar panels will never lose more than 8% for 25 years. my system was schedule to produce 14559 -8% should always produce 13394 not 10K or 11K
