I am writing this review to share my deeply frustrating and costly experience with Sunpower in ********. This company has cost me over $1000 every month due to their terrible service and lack of accountability. Last September, my solar system went down, and here I am, 7.5 months later, still waiting for warranty parts.In the meantime, my energy bills have skyrocketed to $900-$1200 per month. This is because, even though my solar panels are not functioning, I am being charged 400% over my allotted energy usage. The only way to stop these exorbitant charges would be to remove these worthless 8-year-old panels from my roof, but Southern California ****** (SCE) continues to penalize me regardless.I have called Sunpower every week, desperately seeking help, only to be met with empty promises. Their guarantee of system performance means nothing compared to the penalties and sheer frustration I am enduring. I purchased this house with this subpar system already installed, and despite my background in the solar industry, I am now suffering the consequences of what seems like a deliberate attempt to avoid responsibility.As a third-generation resident of ********, I am determined to warn every person and business in the area about this heartless and unprofessional company. I will be reaching out to corporate, every member of the Redlands Chamber, and every realtor who does business with my family and company. I want to ensure that no one else has to endure what I am going through.I have included payment texts showing the $8000 I have paid in the last two months alone, and yet I am still behind. I will be contacting *************************, *******************, and every reputable realtor our company works with to warn every client about this nightmare.Stay away from Sunpower if you value your hard-earned money and want to avoid being treated like worthless trash. This company offers complete trash service. I will be visiting their offices very soon to see what I can do!
