      We called Brian on 5/28/2024 for a bee hive removal service on one of the trees at our school playground. I paid him $300 to remove the bee's hive and it turned out that the bee hive was gone. So I asked for a refund since there's nothing needed to do about it. He said there was a $150 service call but he offered to refund the rest of the money $150. It has been a month and no refund received from him. I kept calling him and he kept saying later today or tomorrow that he will come. Still no refund. I want all my $300 money back since there's no service provided on that day.Thank you

      Brian's company was hired for LIVE bee removal Friday, 8/11/23. I paid $1000 with one year warranty per his initial estimate. I was told any bees remaining would move on. That didn't happen since they didn't do the job correctly as explained below. Saturday, 8/12/23, I noted many DEAD bees inside and outside of my garage. I called Brian, since the bees were NOT to be exterminated. He said he would send someone to see what happened. He never sent anyone, never called me back. Wednesday 8/16/23 I sent Brian an email asking for follow up, photos and description of work completed. No response. Nor did I ever get any statement showing work completed or that I had paid in full. Monday, 8/21/23, I called Brian again. He said he would call me back and come check what happened. No call call back nor did he ever show up. To this date I have received nothing from him nor any follow up at all. I did research two other companies doing LIVE bee relocation and they both said what Brian's company did was wrong. They are supposed to remove the LIVE bees and hive over a number of evenings when the bees are all back in the hive and not just a couple of hours in the morning such as Brian's employees did. They ALWAYS provide photos, video and description of work completed. They also suggested the possibility Brian's company actually exterminated rather than relocated the bees. I hired another company to do the correct job and clean up the mess Brian left. As they described, he did NOT do a complete job. So I ended up paying another company to do the work correctly, without any dead bees and complete LIVE bee relocation and prevention of bees being able to enter that area of my attic again. I paid that company $850. Since Brian did not honor his warranty as per the estimate, provide ANY proof of work done, no photos, no description, no follow up nor follow through with his promise to investigate, I deserve a full refund of my $1000 paid.

       I am rejecting this response because:

      Last week Brian called and left me a message.  I called him back and he was apologetic, explained he had let the people go who had not done a good and appropriate job on my property and stated he would provide a full refund.  He stated he would contact me this week to arrange for the refund.  I've heard nothing from him since last week.  Yesterday, 11/9/23, I texted him at ************ at 10:30 AM and offered he could reimburse me via Zelle, Venmo or Paypal and to please do so as promised ASAP.  I received no response.  I then followed up with a voicemail yesterday at 4:00 PM.   I haven't received any response at all to this point.  I left another message today, 11/10/23 at 1:45 PM reminding him of what he had promised during our conversation last week. This is beyond frustrating as he sounded sincere last week and no follow through again as was his previous pattern and not completing what he promised, a full refund.

      Hi ******,

      Thank you so much for reaching out.  Dealing with Brian Romberg is like pulling my hair out.  He stated he let the guys go who did such a poor job and promised me a full refund.  That was around October 30th.  

      I've since had to call him numerous times (November 9th, 10th, 13th, 21st) and each time he promised to refund, whether by cashier's check and mailed or most recently by ***********  He asked me to email him with my mailing address which I did November 21st.  He responded on November 22nd that ***** will be sent and asked my phone number (which he obviously has) but I responded with it anyway the same day.  

      As of today, Tuesday, November 28th I still have not received the full refund as promised in any form. I don't know how many more times I need to call him but this is ridiculous. 

      Thank you so much for reaching out.  I don't know what's going on with Brian and his company but I so look forward to this being resolved for good. It is truly unbelievable this has been an ongoing issue since since mid-August.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

      I wanted to share an additional update on BBB Complaint 20761604.  Just today, Brian did refund my full $1000.  Obviously it took a while for him to follow through. I ended up calling him yet again and he did state he planned to refund me via Zelle.  He shared he too was disappointed in the job the people had done on his behalf and actually didn't do right by me, the bees or him for that matter.  The whole point was to save the bees and the hive and it appears they just killed them and lied about it.  He has let them go, as he shared with me previously, but certainly it was quite damaging all the way around so I'm hoping he is much more careful who he hires going forward. From my contact after the fact with other companies who relocate live bees, there's apparently a lot of deception going on in this field, sadly, for the bees and the environment which they are so crucial for helping pollinate.
