In late March of 2024, I brought my Mitsubishi Montero to Redondo Mitsubishi, to have a specific problem repaired: the idle was often dropping unexpectedly. The individual I dealt with was named *****, in Service. ***** told me that the problem was due to leaking vacuume hoses. I was assured by ***** that I would have a good experience there and that the repair he proposed would fix my ********* problem. I ok'd new spark plugs as that part of the engine was exposed due to their work. On March 20, 2024 I picked my car up and drove home. The next morning I was still experiencing the same problem: the idle was often dropping unexpectedly. I called *****. ***** told me that he would have a new throttle and butterfly installed to fix the problem they had charged me for but did not fix. From March 21 onward I communicated regularly with *****. I was being told the parts were coming in later that day, or they were coming in tomorrow, over and over again from March 21 to April 5, after which ***** did not return my call. I texted him at that point, and requested my credit card be refunded $933 of the $1,033 that I was charged, and that I would pay the $100 quoted for the spark plugs as this was outside of the issue that was to be fixed. I told ***** that ideally I wanted Redondo Mitsubishi to make the repair that I was charged for but it wasn't happening and days were turning into weeks and I need to get my car repaired, I guess elsewhere. On April 8, 2025 I left ***** a phone message (as he did not respond to my text), repeating what I had texted him, and adding that if he had the parts, and I was mistaken, to please let me know. I have not heard from him. I contacted my credit card to challenge the payment as ***** had not credited my card as I had requested. I had trusted *****, and I liked him. But after almost 3 weeks I could not help but feel I was getting the run around. They had my money, did they have little motivation to repair my car?Initial Complaint

My transmission was serviced by the above company. On 10/30/23, on my way to my father's funeral. My transmission completely gave out and was found to have very minimal or no transmission fluid inside. No leaks has been detected by the accused nor the second service station I took it to. I now need a new transmission which starts as $7500 and I'm responsible to pay.Initial Complaint

I purchased a keyfob from Mitsubishi Motor in ****************************, Redondo Beach, ** *****. The dealer could not program/pair the keyfob to my recently purchase vehicle (vehicle purchased 19 April 2023). I was told to try another dealer. I went to Mitsubishi in commerce **. I was told it couldn't be done due to issue with newly purchase keyfob. I was told to take it back to place of purchase and get it replaced. I went back to Mitsubishi Redondo Beach CA for replacement. Replacement arrived a week later. I was told they couldn,t program/pair the keyfob due to software update they didn't have and that the update needed to come from corporate and they were waiting on it and I would be contacted once it arrived, two weeks went by no contact was made. I call to get status, they couldn't or wouldn't give me a date when this would be resolvded. I call Mitsubishi **************** a case number ****** with contact name **********. I have been calling almost every day for two months to get status on the issue, I'm always sent to her voice mail where I leave messages. The people who answer the phone will not give me a supervisor or someone in charge to talk to, they always send me to voice mail. This has been going on for two months. I am complaining and want to get my issue sorted out since no one has called me back on my damage to my car. I went on Saturday to get an oil change, get a inspection on my car and courtesy carwash. Once all the work was done, I noticed my brand new car rim were scratched. At first I just thought it was shiny from the wash but I noticed the whole rim was scratched, my tire has a small cut but it's not a deep wound. I called and spoke to the service manager. He said he would review the camera and get back to me. I know my rim on the right back was not scratch and was clean new cause my daughter car seat is on that side so I look at the rim daily. I would like to get my rim fix and tire as the car is less than a year old. I would like if someone can get back to me and get this issue resolved.Initial Complaint

On October 23, 2021, my wife and I bought a 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander from the above dealer. As part of the transaction we traded in a 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander which still has a loan (USAA Bank) against it. The dealer has yet to pay off this loan against the 2019 Outlander. I am trying to refinance the 2022 Outlander but cannot because the 2019 is not paid off. I have emailed the dealer twice requesting when and if they sent the payoff to USAA Bank. They have not answered me. USAA Bank has called the dealer and left a message. The dealer has not called back. I am requesting that the dealer do their job and payoff the existing loan on the vehicle I traded in.Business response
