This is a totally unprofessional outfit. I hired them for a big house addition project. The deal is that they will help with drafting the plans (design + structural), work with the city (****** in my case) to get approvals, and then do the construction.The plans were submitted to the city in Feb 2022. They havent been approved till now. So its 22 months already and I have nothing to show for all the money I have spent till now. I changed the plans middle of this year so I will attribute 3 out of those 22 months to me. In my review I want to highlight the following things 1. Complete unresponsiveness; they never proactively provide updates on the project. When I call ***** to get updates, the calls are rarely answered. This continues to be a problem even after I have provided direct feedback on this matter multiple times. When I am hiring a company to run a project that costs north of half a million $, I expect responsiveness and timely updates. I have brought the issue to ******* attention as well. Still nothing changes.2. Lack of competence; the plans they submit to city have easily avoidable mistakes and typos. Things like incorrect square footage (that is being added), different sq ft on different pages of the plans, incorrect representation of the current structure (like shape of the roof), Come on! Everyone knows that citys are slow, so the work that is submitted to them should not have these silly, easily avoidable mistakes which add to the delays.If you have a small project, then you nigh consider considering them (even then I would be very very careful after my horrible experience). If you have big project, steer clear of this outfit and save your money and energy.
