We purchased airfare to ****** through wholesale flights. Our flight was cancelled due to the Hamas attack. The airline told us there would be a refund regardless of flight insurance as the flight was cancelled. They also told us ********** agent would need to handle that refund for us. Wholesale flights have refused to refund any of the $5000 of ticket costs. They have also refused to take our calls.Business response

To whom it may concern,
We have spoken to the client today and have resolved their complaint. However, we were not ignoring them, we have been in communication the entire time. I believe there was a miscommunication between the passengers. It is all resolved now, you can confirm this with our client. Thank you!

I purchased a one way flight in july through flight guru for me and my fianc from naples ***** to ****** **********. With out telling me they added a return trip a month later to ***** saying it was a cost saving feature they do. When I asked them to remove it they said it will cost me money to remove and that I should just ignore it and it will cause no issue. I received a phone call today from united who I am flying with questioning this flight. They told me that if I dont intend to use it it must be cancel or I have to pay a fee for that flight of $800per person. They said if I dont pay it they will cancel the whole flights. When I reached out to flight guru again they were extremely rude and told me its not their problem and that they didnt book the return flight and that I must of. They kept interrupting me telling me im not listening to them, even though I repeated everything they said to me. They again told me to do nothing about the flight and continued to repeat how they didnt book it. When I read back to the the email I recieved from them saying how they told me they did book it, they told me I was misraken. They then forced me to pay $150 per person to cancel that flight. They did refund me for the portion im not using but I still had to pay to cancel something I never purchased. Then they asked me for my id. When I asked them what its for they said we just need you to send it ok? I said as a consumer inhave the right to ask why you want my information. They said to just confirm my identity and then they asked me to write in an email that I would not pursue any legal action against them. I refused. I have emails proving what I paid for and emails stating that they added the flight they made me pay for. Please help.Business response
