********s roofing was used part of a Solar and Roof project for a home in Reedley CA. The home leaked near an air conditioning ventilation are and caused extensive damage to the home owners master bedroom. They were called to come to the home and fix the leak multiple times and patched it with a scrap piece of OSB plywood. Since the start of the heavy rains in December the homeowner has been dealing with this and when called to come and repair it on the 15th of March 2023 they stated they couldn’t come out until the 28th of March knowing the homeowner had water running into their master bedroom. Photos and videos were sent to the owner ******* ******** ** and the leak has still not been addressed. They have let the heavy rains damage the home further and won’t address the issue. Homeowner doesn’t speak English and they are taking advantage of the situationBusiness response

Response in regards to the complaint. Our technician had made the customer aware of the situation. He mentioned to them that the leak was not coming from the roof. It was coming from the AC. He also showed them where the problem was coming from. The customers were aware of this after the technician explained the problem to them. I paid for a 50 year roof warranty in 9/2021. January 2022 I get an email that Magallon's started but never completed the process to protect my purchase for 50 years and therefore ***** Corning reverted it to a 10 year warranty. I'm getting the run around from ********* Magallon. ******* Magallon has never contacted me in response and now ***** Corning has not responded timely to whether or not they can fix this problem. I've been attempting to resolve this issue for 2 weeks. I paid $12,000 cash for partial fascia replacement, solar fan, partial insulation, roof tear off and install including materials and labor. I have requested (1) the 50 year manufacturers warranty be properly applied to this roof or I have given the owner the additional options of (2) tearing off the existing roof and replacing it with the exact materials while properly applying the 50 year warranty at no additional cost to me, or (3) refunding a minimum of $10,000 as we did not get the product warranty promised therefore creating obvious future expenses for us to replace this roof again in 9 years, not 49. Due to 2 weeks of being ignored by the owner and not getting requested reinstatement of the 50 year warranty, I am now asking this contractor to choose between option 2 or 3 as listed above and need your assistance.Business response
