My 2019 Jeep Cherokee Latitude has been there for 16 days. It started with a dead battery, changed the battery and car still didn't start,. ******************* is service advisor. He refuses to give me a status update on my vehicle despite my numerous calls. I keep being told that he'll call me back in a few minutes. Never responds. Per 2 othe quotes from different dealerships, Hilltop Jeep is selling parts at lest double over list price, as well as not addressing battery related issues. The *** they are saying I need replaced should be covered under the major emissions warranty. After 16 days I should have had some resolve. Also, I should not need both a PDC and *** replaces. I have expresses all of these concerns to ******************* and attempted to speak to Seeive manager, *****. I have been given the run around with no definitive answers.Initial Complaint

March 14, 2023 I took my 2015 Jeep Cherokee to *******************, the service advisor, for an oil change and new windshield wipers. Of course it turned into a huge $1,500 service and I was told it would be 2 hours, then after 2 hours, another hour. After 3 hours, I was told it would be "just one more." I said I have an appointment so please put my car back together as I need to go ASAP. I waited another 20 minutes. I was told the only thing not done was changing the spark plugs which decrease my price by $500!I took my car to someone else to. change the spark plugs. When he opened the hood the manifold was not connected and other things were left undone to make which made the car unsafe for me to drive. Examples: S**** left unscrewed-in (it's poking up/out); Bracket loose, broken off the housing that holds it and more (see photos).I'm appalled at the service and the way I was put off. Such super messy, dangerous work.Business response

On July 22, 2022. I had my car towed into hilltop dodge in ******** ********** to have 4 new tires installed on my car. Before I had my car towed in I talked to the financial department to ask if it was ok if I was to pay with a money gram money order because that the only thing that I had at the time being that I had 2 flat tires along with the other two being bad and no ride to my credit union witch is approximately 80 miles from my home so I would not be able to do a deposit, they told me that was fine I could pay with that. Never did I know or was told that my car would take 4 hours for tire installation and that they would keep my car until the following Saturday, being that my car had already been dropped off at such a late hour I had no choice but to wait. The next day, which was my daughters birthday party. I go to retrieve my vehicle and after I get there the cashier had me sign over the money order to this particular dealership, sign and date it then they told me they good not except it because they could not verify it with money gram because they was not answering the phone. So they told me I would have to find another payment method. I then had to call for a ride after I was dropped off to try to make it to my military bank in time before they closed which was impossible because they had already done so. I then call the dealership back to let them know that I was going to have to make the payment online with my debit card being that the bank would be closed when I arrive to my bank to make the deposit to cash in the money orders through my atm. They then told me that I can only pay cash. My withdrawal limit is only ***** a day I owed ****. ATMs do not allow you to withdraw over that limit daily. So here it is Saturday on my daughter day of her birthday party that she missed because I was not able to retrieve my car. On their written. Policy they accept all **** Mastercard payments which my debit has. And refused to give me my car. Its al lot more also.
