On December 8, 2021, I purchased beef jerky from Stafford Meat Company's online website. Order # *****. The total order was $90.81 however, my complaint is for only one of the items that I purchased. I purchased 10 quantity of the "Teriyaki Beef Sticks" item for $5.52 each, totaling $55.20. The beef sticks were advertised on their website as "10 count" with a picture of the bag showing each bag was "7-9 ounces". All ten bags I received were only "4-5 ounces." On December 29, 2021, I emailed the company ********************* noting the difference between what was on their website and what I received and whether or not I was sent the wrong sized bags. They admitted the picture was wrong and old. I responded on December 30, 2021 asking for a partial refund and didn't hear back from them. Until on January 21, 2022, ******************* sent me a separate email stating "You're a scumbag. You got what you paid for. Don't EVER try and order from us again!"Business response

I am rejecting this response because: I am not a disgruntled former employee of Stafford Meat. I have never worked at the company and have no relation to it. If Stafford Meat meant that the person who called me a "scumbag" was a disgruntled employee who was terminated, then that is good that the employee was terminated. That however, does not resolve that there was misleading advertising on the website for the jerky sticks I ordered and received. I ordered the sticks under the guise that I'd be receiving 7-9 ounce bags, but instead I received 4-5 ounce bags.

I was not referring to the complainant as an employee. The picture was a simple oversite that has since been corrected, and the customer was refunded money. The transaction resulted in a loss of money for our company. If all of our customers who ordered this product pursued a refund, we would be out of business.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: There was a refund of $43.75 on 1/19/22, but a reversal and rebill of $43.75 on 1/26/22.
