In 9/2022, I paid more for ForeverLawn K9 Grass and installation than I did to have a new roof put on my home. For that cost, one would hope for more professionalism, customer service, and quality of work than exhibited by ForeverLawn Pacific Coast. Upon my initial call, I was told my sales consultant could address my questions/concerns about installation, weeds, and the sprinklers/drains in my yard. After I signed the contract, I encountered ongoing problems. Among them: I did not receive confirmation of my installation time. When I called them, they said the installation crew wanted to start immediately. They showed up 50 minutes late. The crew tore out my sprinklers and attempted to cut the water pipes in my backyard without my consent. When questioned about why they created two concave areas, they stated it was for better drainage. This did not make sense, since K9 Grass supposedly has superior drainage. Denise K***** claimed I experienced an anomaly in the breakdown of communication; the crew not being briefed on my project before they started work; and made excuses for the employee who was overtly rude in justifying tearing out my sprinklers. Within 2 months of installation, I had weeds in several places; multiple 1-foot+ long ripples/bumps appearing across my backyard; and the concave areas were deepening. I hoped I could have these remedied under my installation warranty. Justice K***** responded by normalizing the ripples due to weather/temperature changes and attributing them to the weeds. After a month of email exchanges, ForeverLawn PC sent a repair team almost 6 hours late from their scheduled time. Denise K***** said she would “look into this and I will get answers for you as soon as possible.” I never heard from her. There is still a patch of turf that is not lying flat to the ground. While the drainage of the product is great, ForeverLawn is a more costly option than other turf companies, and they do not seem competent in proper installation.
