      Brought my Ford Fusion car in to be serviced mechanic checked it out gave me quote and issues wrong with car in a second phone call he had added another issue on to the car that I would be charged for only telling me because I had called to get the quote I was told I would receive hours prior to. Told me I had saved the engine just in time. When car was all done I payed and when driving off I had the same issues if not more damage was done to my car. When I called back the next day the front desk had told me a new issue based off my new problems this raised concern because if they knew of these issues why were they not fixed. I was told A tow truck was suppose to come to my place of stay and never did.The mechanic who serviced my car then called my mom n stated there was no oil and there was something wrong with my engine asking for more money yet he had told me my engine was able to be fixed because I brought it in at the time I did. I had not received any help after the problem.

      This vehicle was brought in with almost no oil . She had indicated some symptoms and based on those recommendations and my technicians own diagnosis we recommended a oil change a basic tune up and brakes and rotors for the rear axle. Based on our initial inspection of the vehicle there was no indication that our routine maintenance would cause the type of damage she is claiming now. Which leads us to believe she wasn't honest with us when she brought it in. Also we drove the vehicle approx 20 miles after repair and released vehicle in working condition. When the customer notified us of this issue i sent 2 technicians to her location and determined the engine was blown. We did offer to have vehicle towed her and were willing to work on the price of a used engine . The customer refused and stated they were gonna proceed with a complaint/ or Lawyer.

      NOW AS IN OUR LAST RESPONSE WE ARE WILLING TO HELP WITH THE PRICE ON THE ENGINE . THE PARTS WE INSTALLED ON YOUR VEHICLE WHICH WERE YOUR  4 BRAKE PADS, 2 REAR ROTORS , 4 SPARK PLUGS AND 4 IGNITION COILS , AND AN IGNITION SWITCH . THOSE PARTS ARE IN NEW WORKING ORDER . YOU PAID 675.00 PLUS TAX IN PARTS AND $761.00 IN LABOR WE ARE WILLING TO HELP WITH THE COST OF THE ENGINE BY DISCOUNTING YOUR LABOR COST FROM YOUR SERVICES ALREADY PAID FOR .

       I am rejecting this response because:

      Because of the lack of transparency I do not trust the situation will be fixed. When the issue was first brought up to the mechanic no honest help was offered wasn’t till constant reaching out. I was out in a very unsafe position driving off with a car that was not properly fixed and still and being asked for more money.  Eddie who I spoke to claimed the car would be fixed and a good working car easy running over the phone this did not happen. I just gained more issues with my car to the point where it’s no longer drivable. My car was either not completely investigated or fixed incorrectly. Claimed the car was working well but within 5 minutes of pulling off the car still had problems I feel he took advantage of my youth and inexperience. Stated he test drove for more than 20 miles that was not the case. The whole transaction has been dishonest. And is still asking for a great amount of money for a job not done correctly in the first place and a unsafe position I have been put in.
