I got a Intoxalock installed for 120 days. After device was removed from my Truck within less than 24 hours my check engine light turned on, and than I started having problems with my truck starting and shutting off randomly while driving. My Truck is no longer safe and drivable due to it randomly shutting off. I notified Auto stereo of the issues I was having my Truck. I was informed to take my Truck back so I had it towed to Auto Stereo of riverside. I received a call back and informed they didn't know what was wrong with it and to pick up my Truck, My Truck battery was also damaged which was new and had to be replaced again. I had to have my Truck towed back home.Business response

There is nothing more we can do for this matter. Vehicle was serviced and picked up the first time with no issues. Device was removed and customer drive off without incident. If something was done wrong it wouldn’t have been able to start and drive off perfectly. Customer states ONE WEEK later that due to removal of breathalyzer that his truck is having issues. As a courtesy and under good faith we agree to inspect our work of removing device. Vehicle was towed in and already been tampered with since it originally left our shop the fist time. We inspected it and found nothing wrong with the wires or area related to breathalyzer. We advised him to take it to a mechanic. Feels to us that this is a case of “you touched it last so we are responsible”. It doesn’t work this way. The truck has issues but not related to the state ordered breathalyzer serviced by our center. Nothing further will be provided by our company.Initial Complaint

I went to this shop on feb 8,2021 to have ad an amplifier to my car. And some rear speakers I was charged 612.00. As soon as it was done i noticed that it didn’t sound right. The next day my subwoofer stopped working. I went back that shop that Monday and they said “ my subwoofer was old and I needed to get a new one.” I installed a new subwoofer. They day after I installed it the new subwoofer went dead again. The next day I went back to the shop again and again they said I just needed a new sub the guy sales rep went as far as to say that he new better than me because he had been doing this for 25 years. I decided to just hold on buying anything else because I had spent so much money and nothing was getting done. Since then my car Stereo has gotten worse my blue tooth doesn’t work now the music stops randomly the sounds quality is horrible. I went to see what did and that job wasn’t done right my original harness was cut off and all the wires were spliced there a short somewhere.Business response

Greetings.
This is a response in regards to the complaint in this email. We can definitely set an appointment to have this vehicle inspected. Any issues that are covered under our warranty will be corrected free of charge. It appears the customer did not return since his second visit. I’m sorry we can’t fix something that was not brought to our attention nor given the chance to repair. We are not going to pay for something based on this so at the moment the only option would be for customer to call the store and set up and appointment to have the system looked at.
