On 11 December I contacted this company to purchase a used shipping container for $2100. They provided pictures of the supposed container that I would receive. On 12 December they sent me a purchase contract, instructions on how to make payment, and confirmed once payment was received they would coordinate delivery with uship. 13 December they confirmed receipt of payment. All meaningful contact stopped. I requested shipment information multiple times, and have received nothing. The company has now created a new page, and seems to be starting over with their scam. I know it's probably not ever going to happen, but I would like my money back so I can use the funds to actually procure a shipping container.Initial Complaint

On October 1st i bought 2 shipping containers for $6,515 and to be delivered on October 9th 2021. we were told everything was finalized and the containers will be shipping the next day with tracking details. On October 8th we still did not receive tracking details and where wondering whether or not the containers would be delivered at all since he did not respond to that message. On October 23rd I called asking why the container have not arrived and we still did not receive tracking details. He said that in order to complete the delivery we needed to pay a refundable $1500 insurance for the containers or wait 90 days. The $1500 was never discussed in the contract nor did he let us know of that issue any time beforehand. Since we cannot wait 90 days or pay the extra $1500, since he was responsible for the delivery of the containers, we asked for a refund. He replied with they cannot do that since the containers where no longer there's, but yet asked us to send him more money to complete the shipping. I am afraid that this is a scam since there is a similar scam report but about ocean sea containers. Which is what his email is linked too also. I would like to just have a refund since he breeched the agreed contract and offered us no compensation for our troubles, and failed to answer other questions we asked him about the delivery of the containers.
