Contracted a job to have and additional patio cover installed in my backyard. Job wasn't completed, patio caps were missing. Cost $3300, Date of completion 2/15/23. Employee stated that the missing caps would be installed after I contacted the contractor. It has been over 2 months while trying to communicate with texts and phone calls and the job is still not complete.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
The job has not been completed yet. Installer informed me that he needs another part to finish the job. Have not been contacted on when the job will be complete. Don't understand why you were told the complaint has been resolved, that is not correct at all.Initial Complaint

This company Gutters n Covers aka Aluminum Patio Covers as I know them by but they have changed their business name numerous of times due to the many complaints with the BBB but their address is **** * ******* *** ***** ** ***** *usiness number ###-###-#### that remains the same. I had a representative **** come to my home on 3/23/22 to give me a quote and **** made many notes on different ones to choose from. On 3/25/22 **** came back and we did a contract for the company to come to my home to put the cover up on 4/8/22 that day the materials were wrong post size. When we originally spoke to **** we focused on where the posts would be their workers brought wrong size The supervisor ****** showed up as I called him When ****** showed up his workers stated they could switch the right cover for the left and left for right but the middle had to be a 10” and they brought 9’6 The post was to be at 9’6 ****** stated he had 10” materials at the office and could go get it but his workers stated it was too late and couldn’t do it nor work on a Saturday so ****** stated to us he would reschedule me as he tried to charge us more money I told ****** we were willing to work with him but couldn’t pay more it wasn’t our error and as long as they can have the cover up by 4/24/22 ****** was ok with that. ****** said he would talk to **** and get back to us but he didn’t I had to call him numerous of times and twice when I spoke to him he said he would have **** call us or the owner but again no response from anyone to our texts, calls, emails We don’t want them to try to put a lean on our home without us knowing so I’m doing my best to resolve luckily we didn’t pay them anything on my last email on 4/22/22 I stated this was my final attempt to get them to do the work and contract should be voided due to non service and past the date of promised What I’m asking for now is to cancel my contract due to no work was done and prior to date promised To have no lean attempt to our home
