  On November 6th, we agreed to purchase an MBO paper folder from this company for $7,500. We also spent $2000 in shipping. This was based on a quote they provided the same day which described the machine as well as gave the manufacturing date as built in 2009.When the folder was delivered here it was found to be a **** folder.It is a computerized folder and the date is very important because folders built around **** are much more susceptible to failure and more difficult to repair.The folder also does not work, it has some components that aren't functioning (as well as a critical adjustment know that was broken off and just taped on). We had been told by ********************* at this company that it was fully working. It needs repairs, but that is a minor issue besides it being 8 years older than advertised - we think they lied about it working as well.We asked to return it because it was 8 years older than advertised. **** refused. First he claimed he had documentation showing it was actually a 2009. We contacted the manufacturer who verified it was a ****. **** now claims it was just a typo in his ad but that it doesn't matter how old it is.He also claims that since we purchased it as-is with no warranty he had no obligation to provide a folder with the date advertised.They refuse to accept a return and won't even answer our emails now.

  We advertised the equipment on Machinio.com and never stated the year of the machine, ***** purchased the machine not because of the year of the machine but because we had answered all the questions and concerns he had at the moment. We told him that he needed to pay taxes if he was purchasing the machine and picking it up and he said his brother was picking it up and we asked for a BOL to remove taxes and that was never provided. The machine was picked up and inspected by his brother ( emails available) and his brother signed off that the machine was ok and was being sold "As-Is" ( Pick Up Sheet Attached). When he personally saw the machine he said that the folding plates were not working and that the ** was "susceptible to failure" we than asked for something from MBO disclosing that the machine was "susceptible to failure" or that was just his opinion. We also todl him to check the machine really good since he had picked it up the transporttion might have moveds something around, also told him to check the power these machines are very delicate to electrical and if they put the wrong power it would damage something.

  The email were he is telling us his brother is picking up the machine. If a transportation company would have picked it up they could have been responsible for any damage.

  Second The descritpion of the machine advertised with no year. Shows that we never advertised the machine because of the year.

  Third the Pick Up Receipt signed by ***************. Shows that the machine was sold as is.
