He did not finish job he destroyed my yard and will cost me more to fix what he ruined my yard. He took money and never showed back up to job. He keeps giving me excuses why he hasn't refunded the money. At this time he has only given me 400 dollars. He was given 1000 on December 24th to buy sod and never shown back up to finish job.Business response

Good morning
I have explain to the customer that I have a balance due of $600 and will be returned no later than the end of this month. Customer was explained that the specific material that he had asked for was not available till late April or May. We installed irrigation system, as well as the pool, clean out of existing grass, soil amendments and tilling of soil per agreement. Please have the customer contact me if he has any questions, I will gladly respond. Thank you and let me know if you have any questions I would like to have this resolved as soon as possible. I am rejecting this response because: This is an out right lie i have many test messages from ***** of when he would return the money he took from me on December 24th and never returned to my property to work on project he was hired to do. He has changed date of returning the money serval times and then stop returning my text messages. My yard is destroyed and what i have paid 3500 dollars for i will have to pay that much to get my yard back to a starting point for the person i hire to fix and finish what he has done to my property.
Money was given to him on December 24th at which time he NEVER returned to my house to work on my yard. We are now at March 14th and he has not given me the money and has stopped returning text!

As mentioned above, per agreed service invoice agreement with customer existing grass has been removed and hauled away. Soil has been amended and rototilled. New irrigation system has been installed and 100% functional. We have pictures and video of before and after of all stages of agreed scope of work and progress. Remaining $600 refund for sod delivery to be reimbursed by March 31st 2024. Product (st, ******** sod) has been on a delay per seasonal availability. Cal Oasis has made to client we are willing to provide free install when St Augustine Grass is available for delivery to site. Attached is imagery and agreed proposal with payment schedule. We have more pictures of all work done as agreed on service invoice.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
To whom it may concern,
as of 4.3.24 i have not been refunded the money that Cal Oasis Design said he would refund on March 31st.2024 Also looking at the pictures he uploaded the contract he listed says 1500 down payment and 1500 upon valve installation for SOD installation and 1500 on final payment of completion of project. I paid him 3500 and no SOD was bought or installed. No grading was done there are still stumps in the area that grass was to be installed.
The pictures only show 2/3 of the old grass removed and that area being tilled.
I would like to see the videos and pictures he is referring to of each step of the job he is referring to since he only spent a total of 8 hours on the project. He left trash (PVC, sprinkler head caps, piles of dirt on the side of my house and in the horse trail area. He also left a chunk of concrete in the middle of my yard and a 10 inch bolder sitting on the curb for many days until i had to move them my self.
