Business ProfileforFiTech Fuel Injection

Bought a Fitech ***** when they first came out. I wanted to support a smaller, up and coming company. I had lots of smaller issues with the system and it never ran quiet right, gas mileage was terrible as well. Then this year, some major problems started (the fuel trim would just shut off and the system going into open loop). Never seen this, so I invested in a new o2 sensor ($80). Then in 4 new injectors ($47 each), then a new pressure regulator ($23). None of this helped the situation. Tech support is slow and had no answers other than a software update, proceeded to do the update and my issue persists. Except now I have fault p130 and fault p105 pop up... i took the entire unit apart, checked the wiring and everything looks okay. I was told to have to send the u it in and that was the end of it. There are hunderets of people on forums, ******** groups ect. That had ECUs that just...quit and this should have been a recall early on. This is a system that is $1000 and I already invested $300 in trying to fix it. A new ecu plus purchasing warranty cost another roughly $300 and I feel like this should be offered as a courtesey replacement give all the issues other and myself included have with this system. I am financially not in the position to purchase a new ecu and now my car just sits. This was a conversion that I was under the impression was a "set and forget" deal but I had to mess with it more than with a carburetor. I also have the go spark which has been flawless so far. Extremely disappointed, not only in the product but also in the support.
