On May 27, 2024 the water heater of my rental unit went out. I have First American Home Warranty for situations like this. On May 27th I called in the claim. ON May 28th a plumber, Plumbers **** in ********************, was on his way. He diagnosed the problem immediately. He said we will turn in the diagnosis and go from there. After a couple of days, May 29, 2024 I called the company again. They were working on it. Called First American, he same day May 29, 20924 and they said they were waiting for the company to turn in the diagnosis. I then called the Plumber **** and American Home Shield Daily after that nothing. Note my tenant now has no hot water and I am liable for a possible law suit and possibly putting them up in a hotel. By June 4th nothing had been done. First American escalated the situation and called the Plumbers ****. They could not get a hold of them. Now we are past a week with no hot water for my tenant. Not until June 10 did the plumber say they had the part and would be out on the 12th of June. June 12th comes out and they don't show up. I have to call them and they said they got the wrong part. Now i am stuck. First American said I could do a cash out., But because the plumber never turned in a diagnosis. They are not sending me any money. So after 2 1/2 weeks I have to get my own plumber to come and replace the hot water heater. At a cost of ******* So now i am out the monthly fee I have been, paying, my ****** service fee and the money for a new water heater. Meanwhile I put my tenant up in a hotel at my expense. I finally get a notice that the company plumbers **** sent out the problem, 1 month after the issue began. All First American wants to do is to give me ***** for a part. Horrible service.Review from Brian G

******** is a nice guy who works for Plumbers **** Unfortunately he cant actually replace a garbage disposal. American Home Shield my warranty sent him out to diagnose my Garbage Disposal of 8 years that had started leaking. He just took one look said we need to replace it. Ordered a unit said it would be 2 weeks. Came as he said he would and replaced it yet he must not have done it correctly because it started to slow leak which I wasnt aware of and then it started to leak from the bottom of the brand new disposal. Only 2 months later I called in and they would not help me with any kind of resolve without paying another work order, they only guarantee their work for 30 days. How in the world can a garbage disposal break that quickly and all the pipes connected start leaking if the job was done correctly. No quality customer service. No one to come check out the work or tell me what this huge part was that fell off and was now sitting in a puddle of water. No one wanted to back up their work. They already have a D- rating and no BBB accreditation. Yet AHS said they were the only contractor who could repair this in my vicinity. Its just unacceptable.Plumbers, Inc Response

Every issued home warranty repair performed by ************** has a 30 DAY warranty for parts and workmanship. Reviewing the phone call received from the customer last Friday, our team explained that the Jan 22nd completion date was not just 2 months but in fact 81 days. This was beyond the reasonable time frame for any warranty work. The homeowner was instructed to call the insurance/warranty company to issue a new work order which we or any other plumbing company would honor along with the small deductible associated with their warranty program.Review from Ismet S

Upon arrival, ************** found low water pressure to a faucet. Technician inspected faucet. Checked valves and cleaned the aerator which did increase the water flow. Customers home warranty was contacted and the warranty claim was denied since the low water pressure problem with her faucet was not a part of her warranty.Review from Rod L

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!My water heater busted my appliance insurance First American warranty sent out Plumbers *** **** came out to install water heater but had to do a temporary set up until drywall was fixed. At that point in time I had to write a ****** check for codes that warrenty company didnt cover. When dryway was completed I call to have the water heater installed correctly and codes that I paid for installed. **** than said I owe him more money ? I asked for what he said installation? I said no My warranty pays for installation? So would not put back unless I gave him 700 more? So my water is out of compliance sitting on floor with temporary hoses for a year now and I would have to pay someone else to install it .. how do they get away with stealing money.!?Plumbers, Inc Response

Upon our initial arrival, homeowner had a new water heater set up as a temporary system that was missing the burner panel shield door. ************** sent the request for the part through Warranty Claims. We received the part and had it installed without charge. The tech also quoted the homeowner to install the water heater and included all costs which was never approved by the homeowner. We would love to complete the job upon homeowners approval and payment.Plumbers, Inc Response

Plumbers **** was contracted by American Home Shield (a horrible warranty **** on 12/19/2023 to come fix my leaking bathroom faucet and emergency shut-off valve. **** from Plumbers **** came out 3 different times for a couple of minutes and did absolutely nothing. He said the angle stop needed modification, and that AHS did not cover that so it would be $190.00 out of my pocket. Also, my faucet is not standard so it would be $140.00 to install. I paid these two amounts before he came out the last time but he still did nothing. Plumbers **** said they would refund my money but never did so I had to go through my credit card *** to dispute charges. Plumbers **** told AHS that the job was completed and it was not. Lastly, since then I have received 2 estimates from plumbing companies that do NOT state they need to modify an angle stop. **** from Plumbers **** was lying, obviously did not know what he was doing, and so he did nothing. It's 01/13/24 and I still have a leaking faucet with now a warped vanity. Do not use either of these companies as they are both incompetent, to say the least.Review from Gilbert V

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This company RIPPED ME OFF! $700 to unclog my sink. The guy who came out to fix this issue was Total LIAR. Telling me that he had to go through the wall to access the pipe with the clog. Wanted to charge me over $1000 or he could use a machine to unclog the pipe & that it would cost $700. I felt I had no choice because my laundry room flooded while doing laundry. I'm a paraplegic in a wheelchair and couldn't clean everything myself. I live in a mobile home & floods will cause major damage to the floor. So I agreed to do it. After giving them my debit card to charge me the plumber took a snake from an opening from the top of where the clog was & uncloged the pipe in 5 minutes. Yes! 5 minutes. So there was no need to run an opening going outside to access the clog. COMPLETE LIE! This Company is a RIP OFF SCAMMER. They took advantage of a Disabled Veteran with a fixed income. I know I allowed him to fix the issue but what could I do. I'm feeling my money situation now around the Holidays. This is why I'm submitting this COMPLAINT 4 Months after the incident. DON'T USE SELECT HOME WARRANTY OR PLUMBERS **** They came to me via Home Select Warranty who are also a RIP OFF.Review from HP M

If I could give zero stars I would. I will never use Plumbers *** again! They were assigned by our home warranty and were absolutely terrible to work with, gave incorrect information and were the rudest employees. I called and left voicemails and emails that went unreturned, I called and was put on hold for 15 mins and hung up on, and I was told that if I had a problem to call the home warranty, it wasnt their problem. I asked for their W9/Tax ID so that I could set them up as a vendor in our system (we are a property management company) to be paid. I was told the owner has that info and has been on vacation for a week, and they don't know when he is coming back. I asked for another supervisor to assist, as I was advised that I cant schedule the appt for our tenants without the payment. I was directed to ********************* who told me they WILL NOT give it to me. I explained this is just a tax ID so that we pay them correctly and he was told "You don't need that, I am not giving it to you." I explained there was no reason to decline to provide it, as it gets them paid and no vendor has ever declined to provide this. ***** advised "There is a first time for everything. Stop being so dramatic." As a paying customer, I was very surprised to be talked down to since I am the client and only wanted to pay for their services, the legal way. I will NEVER use Plumbers *** again and if they are recommended by your home warranty, I would request a new vendor immediately. STEER CLEARReview from Lori M

I took off work and waited for my appointment from 12 to 4. They did not show, they did not call, and when I called her office at 10 to 4 just to double check, there was no answer.
