PLYMR was referred to me through American Home Shield warranty service. The first representative from PLYMR met me at my mountain cabin in March of 2023. He seemed helpful and professional, so we scheduled a water heater replacement. About 3 weeks later, on March 20th, a PLYMR technician installed an upstairs water heater. Since this is my mountain cabin, I was not present at the time. The technician accessed the house using keys left in a lock box. I was able to see through my security camera there was one technician assigned to this job. Several days later I arrived at the cabin and found significant damages had occurred during this installation. In fact, it looked like the technician dropped the water heater down the stairs. The upstairs bedroom door adjacent to the heater now has a large scratch and a hole. The stair well has several large scratches. The stairway banister has several scratches, a large gouge, and is broken away from the wall at the bottom of the stairs. There are also several dings in the floor at the bottom of the stairwell. I have pictures of these damaged areas, as well as before/after pictures of the banister and part of the stairwell. After all of this, and paying $660 plus an $85 service call, the new water heater still did not work. I called PLYMR and was asked to send pictures of the damages. I was told another technician would be at the cabin on March 27th to finish the installation. Although the water heater is now working after the 2nd visit, the front deck stairway was damaged on this 2nd visit; the top stair is now broken off. I have tried to contact PLYMR on several occasions. The receptionist claims she has relayed my messages to the owner and a text with the pictures. I have spoken with another gentleman at PLYMR who said they would get back to me, but weeks go by and no response.Initial Complaint

Our home warranty company hired PLYMWR Plumbing for an issue we reported. We stopped getting hot water in our bathtub but had it for the rest of the house. Plymwr sent out a plumber who worked on it for an hour then left to go to Home Depot to get a part and said he would be right back. An hour later he texted and told us he would not be coming back as Home Depot does not sell that part and he’s sorry but we cannot turn the water on in our house as the bathtub faucet now spews water. He said he would be in contact in the morning for another place that might have the part. He has been totally unresponsive since as well as the company. It has been 3 days with absolutely no response from the plumber and company without anyone getting back to us. They called 3 days later after we hounded the home warranty company who we told we just want it restored to the condition it was before they arrived to which they said they are unable to since the plumber broke the part when pulling out of the cartridge. It will now cost us $1000 to fix what was a small issue and 3 days of lost work for me and husband.Initial Complaint

Company charged me to fix leaky angle stops and replace with new ones. We had 5, they stated that only three were needed, the other two didn't connect to anything. Flowing to the sink and the water lines to the dishwasher, refrigerator and water filter were capped. Home Warranty and an appliance company have confirmed the issues are due to the plumbing being erroneously capped. The company has still come not come to fix the issue. My home warranty company confirmed the girl in the office said she didn't realize that "reopen" meant she had a work order to proceed but that she would now contact me to schedule an appointment. Repair has still not been scheduled to date.Initial Complaint

My water heater was improperly installed. They sent a kid to replace my water heater and he was not strong enough to pick it up. He damaged the base it was sitting on and installed the heater at an angle. He was supposed to come back to change the filter in my faucet because sediment from the water heater clogged it. No one showed up and I took a day off work for them to come. I have tried to call them numerous times but their phone is a cell phone, so they see the number when I try to call them. I get put on hold and they do not come back to pick up my call. All I wanted is for them to come back and fix it so it stands up straight. I cannot believe this company is still in business. I would never ever recommend this company. They damage your property and do sub-standard work and just leave it with no care at all. Save your money, your stress and DO NOT Contact this company. If your warranty company suggest them, ask for another plumbing company!!Business response

The water heater stand was damaged from the original water heater leaking and was pointed out to the customer before the new water heater was installed. We gave this homeowner an option to repair the stand with an additional cost but they refused. We tried rescheduling to clear her aerator 4 different times leaving voicemails and text messages.Initial Complaint

On Nov 26th, 2021, the warranty company sent plymwr plumbing to fix our kitchen sink stoppage. On that day the technician claims that it’s not possible to clear the stoppage by the equipment and service that covers by the warranty. We have to order the roof vent hydro cleaning out of pocket. I specifically asked the technician what if it still won’t work. The technician said it has never happen to him before. We’ll be fine. They showed up on Dec 2nd to do the roof cleaning and tried for about 20mins told me it still won’t work. But they still have to charge me the service fee which is $499. I ask why there is still a charge when they didn’t fix anything. They told me they tried and didn’t work so that’s my problem. But they send out the technician and equipment so I have to pay. I agree to pay for the labor and equipment renting fee but they refuse to give any discount. Then They just left and sent me a notice of lien. As you can see on the estimate they sent me(attached)clearly said the charge is for clear the stoppage not attempt to clear. They didn’t say anything in the estimate and no one in their company told me before the service that I still need to pay the same price even if it doesn’t work. Now I have a lien and a kitchen sink still clogged. To be honest I doubt they even tried to help since they charge the same, working or not. And $499 for 20mins of trying is just ridiculous.Initial Complaint

We were referred to them via our warranty company American Home Shield, on 11/15/2021, who told us that Plymwr would contact us within 24 hours, and begin work within 48 hours. They did contact us within 24 hours, however they scheduled the initial visit for the 19th, which is more than the 48 hours we were told, but we were willing to deal with that and be reasonable, after all its close to the holidays theres a labor shortage, thats understandable. On the 19th no one showed up and we got a call saying they would have to call us back later that day and reschedule probably for the following monday, the 22nd. We get no callback. On Monday we call them back and they say that they had no appointment for us at all until the following Saturday, the 28th. This was unreasonable and so we reached out to our warranty company and after some further debate we agreed to the Saturday appointment and we were to receive an email confirming the appointment. We then called later that same day as we hadnt received the email and wanted to be sure that we had the time correctly written down. Lo and behold, they told us they didnt have an appointment down for us and now they didnt have an opening until Tuesday, the 30th. Tired of fighting, we accepted the new appointment. Today, Tuesday the 30th we were resigned and unsurprised when they called us again to tell us that they have to reschedule, now for Friday 12/3/2021. This company is unprofessional, and downright harmful. We are in need of a plumbing resolution as we barely have heated water, no water pressure, leaks, and potentially lead running through our pipes. This is potentially a health hazard let alone a quality of life issue and they need to be held accountable. Also the phone number they have listed with the BBB goes directly to a voicemail box which is full. The number we have been able to reach them at is ***-**-****. Thank you for your time.
