On 10-19-23 I seen an apartment available for rent on Zillow, so I went to the website for Raincross Senior Village to apply for that specific apartment, which was ***** for $1399 a month. I paid $234.00 with by bank debit card to hold this unit. I spoke to ******* the apartment manager on 10-24-23 and she informed me that this unit was not available. I said why was it posted then? She apologized and stated a refund would be issued back to my card if I was not interested in another unit. I said, please refund my card. On 10-26-23 I called and spoke to ******* because ******* was not in asking about the refund to my card. She said they don't refund the card, they issue a check within 30 days. I said I am not waiting that long, please tell your accounting department that I just dispute the charge with my bank. Well this did not happen because on 11-01-23 I received an email stating the following: Hi ***********************,You've been sent a payment by Refund Raincross Senior Village .With a US based mailing address , you can choose to receive your security deposit instantly via a prepaid virtual debit card or deposited directly into your US based bank account in 1-3 days (routing and account number will be required).To collect and complete the payment click on the button below and follow the instructions.Get Started ?I did not fill this out because my bank returned my money. I even called the ************ and let them know I won't be claiming this money. They said okay. On 11-04-23 I received another email stating this has expired and a check payment will be provided at move out. I never lived there. I have all email proof. ******* won't *************, ******* won't respond to emails and ******* won't respond to emails. They keep billing me this $234.00 that I don't owe. I need them to stop billing me and close this out. I received my money back from the bank, so they did not need to refund me. I don't owe them this money.
