We signed a contract in November of 2021. SaveCo came out to do the initial inspection in November 2021 and February 2022 and left things not working. System was installed February - March 2022. I bought a system that covered 125% of my usage to ensure that I had enough to cover any overages. The system was guaranteed to produce 13,700kWh/yr and was told it would probably produce 5% more than estimated. When they came out on February 8 to do the installation they were driving over the cables laid out in the driveway – installed a bent panel and took weeks for them to complete the install. I was told it’s THHN wire, mid jacketed and used for the AC circuit that they laid out to straighten before pulling through the conduit, this is not a concern. April 6th I received a notice from Spruce that my original solar system had been disconnected - they didn't fix this for weeks. On April 30th they were supposed to square up with me for the system being down and not producing solar but this never happened. June 16th I found they left "hot wires” where they shouldn’t be, didn’t mount the electrical box and the pool kept going off because the wires were arching. June 15th my system went down – 15 of my 21 microinverters were down for over a month. My bill started going up each month. I called multiple times and no response, I spoke to Paul but no one would get back to me and they said they had no record of my calls. Raul, their service tech, came out January 3rd and “fixed” the issue and again was told that Sam would get back to me about a credit (along with the previous 2 credits I never got). As of January 15th, 15 of the 21 microinverters are down again. Paul’s e-mail bounces back like he’s no longer there and Sam won’t respond. I’ve left messages or tried reaching them almost daily since January 16th and at this point have no other option but to reach out to the BBB. I have a lease for roughly $50,000 for a system that doesn't work.
