I took my dog to this vet in June of 2023. At that time, they diagnosed her with a tumor on her spleen and said the prognosis was not good. I asked what my options were: surgery to remove spleen, biopsy tumor, possible chemotherapy. I'm a retired senior, money is tight.Fast forward to March 11, 2024. She has declined quite a bit by now. They re-examined her and said she now had fluid in her abdomen (probably blood) and the prognosis was not good.I decided to get a second opinion. I had another vet do x-rays, ultrasound, and bloodwork. They found NO tumor on her spleen. In fact, her spleen and all of her other organs are functioning fine. The fluid in her stomach IS NOT blood. Her blood panel levels were all within normal range.I should be getting test results today from the new vet. If she can't be saved, I blame Lincoln Plaza Vet for misdiagnosing her not only once, but twice, from two different doctors. They need to be held accountable for their malpractice and negligence.Thank you for your consideration.Business response

We are sorry to hear that a client is upset with the services provided at Lincoln Plaza Veterinary Clinic. We are more than happy to complete a full medical/negligence review on behalf of the client to address all concerns. Medical/negligence reviews can take ***** days depending on the caseload of the reviewer.
A full medical review requires us to review how the case was handled and if there was a breach of medical standards based on the current standards of the veterinary profession. A negligence review analyzes the case for failure to provide appropriate care resulting in the client suffering damages as a direct result of the hospitals actions. To appropriately review this request, we will need copies of all medical records from the recent veterinary hospital where the patient was seen.
Providing the additional medical records does not guarantee a refund, but failure to provide the medical records prevents a liability review and prevents us for offering a refund. We trust that if the client is serious about us reviewing the records and potentially offering a refund, they will provide all the requested information in a timely manner.
If we are not provided with the medical records to complete a review, we request the BBB remove this complaint from our hospital history as we cannot answer a complaint if the complainant does not provide the necessary informationCustomer response
